Bousou Shirahama Umisato Hotel

"The hotel had amazing views from the restaurant and the rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the individual flame grill for each guest was impressive. Please be aware that breakfast is traditional Japanese style and that dinner must be pre-booked, so no last minute pop-ins are possible. There’s also an interesting gift shop and a nice onsen available to guests. The laundry facilities are old, but in working order. The comfortable futon and comforter as well as the powerful aircon made for a great night’s sleep and a very nice stay."

"Very nice location next to the beach. Fresh towels at door everyday. Exquisite japanese style bathroom. 10 min walk from station. Clean and spacious room. Some of the outside tiling was damaged but otherwise wonderful hotel."

"部屋からの景色は素晴らしい。ただ、この時期は暖房しか使えず、外の気温が17度前後でも日差しが入ると室温はかなり高くなり、エアコンが使えないのはかなり厳しい。私達は窓を開け、部屋のドアま で開けたがそれでも部屋の中は暑くて、そこがかなり残念。"

"Amazing stay!!! As two English only speakers the staff were wonderful with trying to accommodate and communicate with us. The lady at the front desk who was short with short hair was so kind to us. The property is amazing and the traditional Japanese room was fabulous. Love the stay. Public bath was a unique and clean experience, dinner and breakfast were included! Would definitely return. "
