Is it possible to give more than five stars? The hosts were amazing, warm and helpful. The property is beautiful and tranquil. The location can't be beat if you want to properly tour the wineries - some are walking distance. In all ways just an outstanding experience.

Great stay

Great place to stay when touring the wine region. Accomodation set in a beautiful large and very tranquil garden with fabulous mountain views and very nice pool with sun loungers and cabana. Breakfast on the veranda of the owners house was a real treat.

Rustic. A last minute booking for us. Hosts were great. Description read Stellenbosch however it was more on the outskirts, so hard to find. Noise of the fridge kept us up, and there were issues with mosquitoes all night long, so take your repellent.

Mooi rustig gelegen.

Mooi en rustig gelegen, goede uitvalbasis naar Franchhoek aanrader is de wijngaarde van Bosch en Dal, mooie tuinen en een goed restaurant. De gastvrouw en gastheer van ons verblijf zijn aardige mensen en verzorgen je goed, lekker ontbijt. Kamer was schoon en netjes.

das Guesthouse ist sehr weiterzuempfehlen! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, das Personal sehr nett und die Anlage mit den zwei Pools wirklich schön. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet könnte umfangreicher sein.

Hier fühlt man sich ab der ersten Sekunde bestens aufgenommen. Wir haben selten so nette und zuvorkommende Menschen kennengelernt. Tolle Anlage und auch die Lage ist sehr gut für Ausflüge. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!!

Perfect setting - amongst the mountains and really close To some really great wineries. Thee rooms were large and comfortable. The single duvets were annoying although the idea is practical. Larger duvets would round off the sleep perfectly.

Schöne Anlage in den Weinbergen vor Kapstadt

Die Anlage ist schön gelegen in den Weinbergen von Stellenbosch. Mit dem Auto ist die Stadt in 10 Minuten zu erreichen, bis in das Zentrum von Kapstadt sind es rund 30-40 Minuten. Durch die Lage im Westen ist es nicht nur ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in diese Städte (Stellenbosch ist absolut einen Tagesausflug wert), sondern auch in Richtung Betty´s Bay (Pinguine) und Kap Agulhas. Die Lage ist absolut sicher und das Auto wird im Innenhof geparkt. Die Unterkünfte im Bungalowstil sind gut ausgestattet, gemütlich und sauber. Die (deutschen) Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und helfen bei Bedarf mit Tipps und Organisation von Ausflügen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut! Das Orange-Ville Guesthouse war ein echter Volltreffer für die SA-Tour - vielen Dank an die Gastgeber und eine echte Empfehlung!

B&B dans un charmant parc,en dehors de la ville

Accueil charmant par le propriétaire. La chambre qui nous était alloué était très petite (chambre Lion) (la salle de bain était presque plus grande) et une forte odeur de moisissure y persistait. Heureusement nous avons pu changer de chambre dès le lendemain, néanmoins avec un surcoût !! Le parc est sympa, le petit déjeuner se prend dans le bâtiment principal qui est à l'autre bout du parc.

Great place

This was, in the words of my friend, "a really good find and we need to back again but for longer" (we only stayed one night on this occasion). The grounds and setting are beautiful and being in the cape wine lands there are plenty of places to go and see. Having a vehicle is a must but for those who havent been to SA before, the driving in the area is easy. It would help if you had a designated driver or teetotaler in your party but the staff will happily arrange a shuttle service for you. Alternatively, the grounds have good bbq facilities and depending on which rooms you have, there are facilities on site to make your own food. The management are German and very friendly and nice but don't expect any UK DSTV channels (the SA satellite service). The limited TV channels are a negative for me but to be fair this isn't the sort of place you go to watch TV.

Friendly, welcoming guesthouse

We stayed in the Lion room. It was very clean and comfortable. The aircon was a blessing in the summer heat. It has a large bathroom with shower (great water pressure) and a large bath. The property has 2 pools with plenty space (seating/deck chairs), so it never felt crowded even though all rooms were booked out at the time of our stay. Breakfast is available in the morning on the patio. We received great recommendations from the friendly guesthouse owners of where to eat in the neighborhood. We really felt they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.The shuttle was very useful, as we were attending a wedding nearby and did not want to drive.
