The hotel has a beautiful location at the base of Signal Hill with lovely views across the city. It is still quite accessible and walkable to downtown attractions (I was working at the International Convention Centre and could make the walk in 30-40 minutes). The surrounding area is quiet and I felt quite safe walking during the day. The staff are all lovely and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I have no complaints about the room (not honeymoon standard perhaps but perfectly adequate for business or vacation travel). My only issue was that they must get the lower gate buzzer fixed so guests are not stranded outside!

Signal hill lodge was great. The only downside is that it is not practical to walk to any place with food or shops from this location. I did not have a car so I ended up using Uber everyday.

The views of the city are great but the area around it is run down and feels unsafe. The bathroom is very small with an amazing combination of pipes and levers.

We had the most incredible 30-day stay at this accommodation! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean. Throughout my stay, the housekeeping team ensured everything was kept spotless, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The location was perfect, providing easy access to local attractions. What truly stood out was the exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. From organizing day trips to recommending local restaurants, they were always there to assist with a smile. We cannot recommend this accommodation enough. Whether for a short visit or an extended stay like ours, this place will exceed your expectations. We will definitely be returning on our next trip!

My family and I stayed for a week in June. It is spotlessly clean. The rooms are large with balconies overlooking the city, with stunning views. Breakfast was full English or any part of it. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, danish pastries, bread jam, cereal, fruit juice. The Staff are friendly and helpful. The are is quiet and not a sole about at night. It was very good value. I would recommend to anyone travelling to Cape Town

Everything was great overall. Only thing I'd say was the breakfast was odd and probably not worth it. They didn't have or offer any water. They also gave me the cheapest sandwich white bread and told me to toast it lol.

Welcomed by a wonderful lady. Super helpful and efficient. She showed and explained everything in my room and bathroom. The switch over from shower to washbasin of the water was not to my liking. I couldn’t temperature control my shower. But overseas a great stay. Stunning views.

Lovely establishment
I first got lost at night on my way to the hotel as the GPS took me to the scary part of Bo Kap. Upon calling the hotel I was given a Noon Gun landmark, which helped a lot. By the time I got to the hotel I was welcome by the friendly night duty staff members. Parking was such a mission though. The rooms are neat and of good quality. The pillows are soft though.The area is peaceful and overlooking the Harbour and Cape Towns. For those that enjoy walking and jogging, it’s a nice place to train for marathons, that is if you enjoy hills.

We really enjoyed our stay at Signal Hill Lodge. It is exactly as it seems. Only bit of advice I can offer is stricter regulation with regards to the smoking of marijuana-the smell was overwhelming
