Beautiful, exceptional service

Stunning hotel. Service was exceptional - they could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. Only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars, is that it would benefit from more sun loungers. Pool was too small to swim in, but very beautiful.

We stayed 6 nights at Stellenbosch Manor. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and the breakfasts were excellent. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely hotel. Very relaxing and staff are very helpful and courteous. Linden, the manager was happy to advise us on good places to visit and excellent restaurants. Our room had a large very comfortable bed and the huge bathroom had a large bath and separate shower. The pool area is comfortable and quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautifully decorated property. Friendly staff - it’s a relatively small guesthouse so we were well looked after. Delicious breakfast - continental plus a choice from a cooked menu. 10-15 min walk from the town centre. It was recommended to us by a friend who had stayed there before and it did not disappoint.

My husband and I stayed at the Stellenbosch Manor for 4 nights, it was in the perfect location a nice easy walk to town. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was more than accommodating. Very beautiful property I would highly recommend stellenbosch manor, we will definitely be back.:))

Great location and a well designed space.

We had booked a Luxury 1 bedroom suite at Stellenbosch Manor a few months ago as we were keen to stay somewhere in Central Stellenbosch for a few nights at the end of our Cape Town trip. The rooms looked large with good quality fittings and a simple walk into town. We were given room #4 upstairs which was a nice bedroom with small lounge space and a separate bathroom in the private corridor. It wasn't what I had been expecting from the pictures online (I think room 4 is labelled as a Deluxe Room in the gallery?) and perhaps a watch out for anyone else booking that is expecting the spectacular four poster room with separate lounge as shown on-line. Fixtures and fittings were a good quality with high quality bedding and lots of wardrobe storage space including a small fridge and safe. Air con isn't very effective which makes the room very stuffy and we were awoken both mornings with the overpowering smell of bacon due to our location above the kitchen! The walk into Stellenbosch is simple and takes around 10 mins - very pleasant by day but you will need a torch at night as the road isn't well lit and not the smoothest surface! All residents are given their own keys as the property isn't staffed 24/7 and the communal lounge and garden areas are a nice touch.

Perfect end to our trip

The property is in the perfect spot to walk to the main area in Stellenbosch, but it is also perfect to visit the vineyards around. Breakfast was tasty, with a good variety of fruit, cheese and pastries among other things. Tashriq was an incredible host, offering great advice of where to visit and eat. He was also very helpful when we had an issue with the shower.

Stayed at the Stellenbosch Manor for one night and wish we had stayed longer. Everything from the rooms to the service was impeccable and we were made to feel at home immediately. The rooms are large and kept perfectly. The swimming pool and garden area is very relaxing and perfect to relax around in the afternoon. The lounge area makes it feel more like a home than a hotel (which we loved). The location is ideal for a short walk into the town. We also loved the decor of the whole hotel. Will definitely be returning when next in Stellenbosch.

Like other reviewers, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, cozy and spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast and manicured grounds. You can easily stroll into the heart of the town for a meal and shopping or just spend a few hours by the pool. We only stayed 1 night, but wish we had stayed longer as the service was outstanding and there are numerous restaurants and wine estates nearby. They offer secure parking on-site and you can come and go as needed. When we said we were checking out early to catch a flight they offered to have the breakfast ready early to ensure we could eat before leaving. If I could rate the service higher I would.

We couldn't have asked for a more charming, well-appointed, cozy guest house. Truly, the property is beautiful and the rooms spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The best, however, was the staff. Our host Libby was delightful, plus helpful beyond compare. I'd be remise if I didn't also mention that the rooms all have heat sources and additionally some had fireplaces. This is important as Stellenbosch in the winter can be cold. In the common areas Libby and her staff kept the fires burning brightly which made for a most wonderful atmosphere.

Wir haben die Unterkunft auf eine Empfehlung hin gebucht und waren nicht sehr begeistert. Die Rezeption ist nur bis ca 18/19 Uhr besetzt danach wieder ab 7/8 Uhr morgens. In der Zwischenzeit hat man einen Schlüssel und kann so auf das Grundstück kommen und in das Gebäude. Zudem war unser Bad leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen und hatte beispielsweise auf dem Toilettensitz einen große Riss und mehrere kleine Stellen die einfach abgenutzt waren. Zimmer war ansonsten groß

Wunderschönes Guesthouse mit riesigen und stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Toller Service und sehr leckeres Frühstück. Super schöner Garten mit sehr bequemen Liegen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Gelände. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig in circa 20 Minuten zu erreichen.

Comfort in stijl

We hebben een paar nachten in de manor overnacht. We werden zeer gastvrij ontvangen en hebben genoten van het comfort in stijl. De kamer die wij hadden was zeer ruim en fijn ingericht. Ook genoten we van het heerlijke ontbijt. Genoeg reden om nog eens terug te komen.
