Not up to our expectations

We stayed in the apartment part of the hotel, which was a long walk from the hotel itself along long corridors. Reception was poor on arrival, no WiFi connection in the apartment only in the hotel bar. A bit sad and improved cleaning of patio would help

Al het negatieve wat wordt geschreven over deze accommodatie en locatie is, wat ons betreft, behoorlijk gedateerd. De WiFi bijvoorbeeld was bij ons appartement prima voor elkaar. De hotel WiFi is inderdaad matig maar de appartement Wifi (aparte router) prima voor elkaar. Schoonmaak was voldoende tot goed. Niet iedere dag schone handdoeken vanwege waterschaarste. Beveiliging is 24x7 en we hebben ons geen moment onveilig gevoeld. Ruime appartementen met wel erg harde bedden, maar dat went. Herrie op de gang soms alleen in het weekend als er locals ook 1-2 nachten langs komen. Let op: zwemmen bij de uitwatering voor kleine kinderen potentieel minder vanwege lichte water verontreiniging. Maar in zee prima maar fris natuurlijk. Al met al prijs - kwaliteit verhouding goed voor elkaar!

Bel endroit en général mais très bruyant le soir et la nuit. Les gens n'avaient aucun respect pour ceux qui dormait. Nous devions laisser les fenetres ouvertes car pas de climatisation. A l'arrivée, difficile de contacter le personne en charge car aucune reception, seul un agent de securité qui nous dit de telephoner...on a pas de telephone a l'arrivée donc on a du le convaincre de contacter quelqu'un. Pas de telephone dans l'apartement ce qui ne simplifie pas les choses dans les premieres heures. Il aurait ete agreable d'avoir un petit depliant nous indiquant les bonnes places a visiter et les details des services offerts tel piscine, spa etc...

Außerhalb von Kapstadt direkt am Meer

Appartement-Anlage neben mit direkter Verbindung zum Lagoon Beach Hotel. Vom Flughafen Kapstadt ca 35 Minuten, ca 200 ZAR . Eigene Rezeption mit Keycard-Ausgabe und WLAN-Erklärung. Anlage etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Roof Pool bei Aufenthalt geschlossen (Winter). Appartements in verschiedenen Größen, mit Kuchenecke, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle und TV, Internet mit Extra-Router, Dusche mit Föhn und Pflegeprodukten. Im Umfeld in Fussweite nur winziger Kiosk, Frühstücken im Hotel möglich, um die Ecke Thai-Restaurant. Direkt am Strand mit Blick auf den Tafelberg und die Stadt. Bushaltestelle direkt zu Fuß erreichbar.

Frustrating stay..

No Sunstays branding either inside or outside the hotel. This made finding the right building and receptionist very slow. They did mail me asking me to warn them of my arrival but I did not pick up that mail. The reception looks nothing like the photo on hotels.com The room are as advertised The pools were shut due to the water shortage The hotel facilities were not all available to us. We couldn't use the gym for example. I found this frustrating It is a big site. A map would have helped. Staff not particularly helpful. Underground parking good

Great apartment, great views, bad wifi

The apartments are great, with everything you need to spend a great time in Cape Town. I made a reservation for the regular apartment and got one with awesome sea views. The apartment had two bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds. Only negative was the wifi, which was weak to nonexistent. This hotel is connected internally to the Lagoon Beach Hotel, where you can find all the amenities of a regular hotel, including two nice restaurants (with good wifi).

Prima verblijf voor prijs

Appartement netjes ingericht en schoon. Hadden luxe appartement zeezicht. Bedden lagen prima, voor onze lengte wel wat kort. Keuken goed uitgerust. Wifi in appartement werkte 90% van 5dgn niet, op gang en in lobby af en toe redelijk bereik. Complex ligt in rustige wijk, geen voorzieningen, moet je voor naar Milnerton. Momenteel ivm waterrestrictie 1 van 3 zwembaden in gebruik, was voor ons prima. Restrictie in hotel mbt water is logisch gezien situatie, wij zijn hier respectvol mee omgegaan. Gratis shuttle hotel naar Waterfront erg fijn.

Good location, but condition of the apartment was not up to standard in this proce category; staff responded to complaints poorly. We were told that there were three pools, but they were difficult to find. When we finally reached the hotel, we were requested to pay a deposit of R200 for the towels, which we of course did not have with us (walking around in swimming outfit). The attitude of the receptionist did not show any customer friendlyness, and we finally gave up. I would not recommend this apartment.

Location was great - right on the beach

dissapointed on the service level i received - as i paid for wifi but over the 3 nights stay - this was not working. i raised this each day with reception and it was it will be fixed, but at the end of the stay no joy. i raised this on departure and i was offered the contact details of the IT service provider - why ?? i wanted some compensation in cost as i had paid for wifi in the price of the stay.

Prachtige locatie met zicht op de tafelberg en Kaapstad, super mooi en ruim appartement aan de zee en het strand, heel verzorgd, op 15 min van Kaapstad, 3 mooie zwembaden (jammer genoeg was het water in augustus te koud, bewaakte overdekte parking, zeer vriendelijk onthaal, goede wifi.

Apparemment les pieds dans l'eau.

Apparemment correct, vue magnifique mais plusieurs choses à revoir. Un seul radiateur qui ne fonctionne pas ,on a eu froid la nuit. Baie vitrée non ermetique et verrou cassé (ancien forçage de serrure ?)Une baignoire sans pomme de douche ... Comment se laver? Une douche ( dans la deuxième salle d'eau) avec pomme de douche fixe au mur... Donc là par contre on se lave les cheveux tout les jours. Pas pratique avec des enfants qui n'aime pas l'eau dans les yeux . Grille pain cassé , pas de cafetière... Manque ustensiles divers. Personnel peu aimable( sauf les gardiens du parking), un sac (vide) et de l'argent resté dans une poche de jeans ont disparu... Appartements indépendant de l'hôtel et en cours de vente au particuliers.

View from our room was the beach. Free shuttle available to take you to the Victoria and Alfred Water Front. Lounge and restaurant in the attached hotel. Travel coordinator there too.

Nice hotel close to the beach and easy access

great experience and very good hotel, and easy access to many touristic points and roads. The room was cleaned all days and the furnitures are new.
