The Residence is located amidst the top wineries and restaurants in the winelands. The popular Franschhoek Wine Tram has a platform at Vrede en Lust, which provides access to 8 wineries in the valley without the need to drive! There is a popular Bistro on the estate - Lust Bistro and Bakery. There is a generator with solar back-up batteries so you will never be left in the dark.
