Pure Nature: The Somerset West Wine Region. Ideal for mountain bikers, hikers, and nature lovers
- A sunny home with a warm atmosphere, surrounded by nature. Enjoy reading, hiking, swimming, wine, and the views. Very private, indoor/outdoor living. 15 km of hiking trails, swimming in the lake. Top restaurants nearby, 8 km to the beach, 6 km to shopping, 45 minutes to the airport, 60 minutes to Cape Town; 25 minutes to the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You’ll share the house with chickens, bees, blueberries, and lots of flowers. A gardener and housekeeper come twice a week. Check out the Wedderwill Country Estate website to get a sense of our life here and the surroundings. For me, it’s paradise. The peace and quiet are heavenly, yet the city is only 15 minutes away.
