Although our group had 3 families, it felt like our home away from home and it had everything we needed for 5 adults and 5 children ages 2 - 16. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we needed them and in making suggestions for the area. Being a native of The Shore, I loved the house's location as it was close enough to the beach and far enough away to have privacy to spend time with our families! "Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available for hanging wet towels and swimsuits. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The outdoor hose and shower and the indoor mud room shower were great. Off street parking and outlet for a golf cart was also nice. Great experience overall and the owners were very helpful with any questions. Another fun summer at Cape Charles. "
