"The residence itself was fantastic. We could not fault the apartment or the swimming pool area which was great - the pool was a good size and everything was very clean. Two negatives - firstly if you could move it about 2km towards the town of Sant’Agata di Militello then you could easily reach the bars and restaurants. "A great place to escape from the hustle bustle lifestyle. Tranquil peaceful setting is our first impression, followed by the friendliness of the staff. Room we had was one of the worst with no view and right next to a construction site. But this did not stop us from enjoying the well kept grounds and the infinity pool overlooking the Aeolian islands. Breakfast is adequate with plenty of savory and sweet choices. But dinner menu was limited with very few local fares. Gym is dark and outdated. Almost like an afterthought. There are signs of construction throughout the property and hopefully that means some pleasant surprises in the near future. "
