Soldotna Inn

"It's an older property, privately owned. Fridge/freezer (dorm sized), microwave, bed all clean. Bathroom was clean as well. TV was DirecTv so there were plenty of channels. We did not try the on property restaurant but it smelled fantastic. The hotel is very close to grocery, restaurants and shopping. About 90 minutes to Homer, 15 to Kenai, 60 to Seward. Right on the middle of the Kenai Peninsula to make a few days of it. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast room was clean. Breakfast is exactly what it sounds like- continental. Oatmeal, cereal, bagels English muffins, things like that. It'll cure the hunger til you get to where your going for all the halibut and salmon you'll eat!!!"

"We had an absolutely excellent stay and couldn’t have been happier with this property! The house was in a great location, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home rather than a typical rental—it was thoughtfully furnished throughout and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had all the supplies we needed, and the welcoming touches, like coffee pods and a snack basket, were such a thoughtful addition. Communication was excellent as well; the host was friendly, attentive, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The value was incredible. The price was amazingly affordable for the quality of the home, the amenities provided, and the overall experience. It’s clear that a lot of care and thought has gone into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, well-equipped place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again!"
Evenson Heritage Lodge

"It is an older unit but for a large group this place was great. we were 15 old high school friends who come to the Kenai to fish, and this is the best place yet that we stayed at overall. It is a little far out from the Kenai, but it is close to the Swanson River north of the lodge. The onsite staff and the host answered all of our questions and when supplies ran low, they were there within a couple of hours. They allowed my dog so long as we cleaned up after her and she wasn't a nuisance. One of the best things was being between the two lakes and the lodge allowing use of fishing poles, lures, spinners, there small motorboat and kayaks to fish and just enjoy being on the lakes. We saw moose and there is an eagles nest hidden behind the lodge. This place was clean and with the pool table, and game room it was a nice place to be after dinner. I hope we can get this place the next time we head to the Kenai with a large group. Thank you, Jennifer, for always answering my emails promptly and giving us good advice on area attractions. Looking forward to getting back in the next year or two."
