"Beautifully decorated, cosy space within a short walk (3 mins) to a beautiful deserted beach. Kind and friendly hosts, who had recommendations for activities, dining options, and transportation. Comfortable bed, great shower, delicious breakfast, strong wifi (even in the hammock on the veranda!). It's about an hour walk to the Ponta de Corumbau, so it's perfect for people who want to be a bit removed from the center of the action (or have a car). Wish I could have stayed longer!"

"A lovely and welcoming place, very close to the beach and within walking distance. Unfortunately, we had some rainy days during our stay, but it was still very pleasant to spend a few days there. The place is peaceful and cozy, and the main bedroom has a beautiful sea view, which made the stay even more special. Paulo and Emilly were incredibly attentive and made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!"

Saint Tropez Praia Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing hotel. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back. I also spend some time at a nearby hotel considered better than this one, however, Saint Tropez is indeed better. Extremely worth it. My only complain is that some staff members are not very friendly and helpful. I had to bring my food plater that was delivered to my room back to the kitchen myself. Oherwise it was outside of my room on the floor for 3 days. I contacted the hotel to move it and also spoke to some employees of the hotel but no one would take care of it. My friend who was next to my room had the same exact issue. Other than this, everything else prrfect. A special thank you for Antonio who was my server."

"We loved this lovely hotel! It's small and personable. The gardens are impeccably maintained. The pool area was a pleasure and it has a private beach access! Few hotels in Trancoso have this. The staff is wonderful. Fluent Spanish speaker and several who spoke English. The food was excellent. We especially loved the breakfast buffet. We normally don't like them but this one was different everyday with many wonderful options. Close to El Cuadrado, an amazing shopping area that has plenty of restaurant choices."

"I can’t say enough good things about Pousada Quarto Crescente. The rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms. The compound itself lovely with great tropical landscaping. Best of all are the people. Everyone there was wonderful. Also included were complimentary daily passes to a great gym. On leaving I was given two huge lemon cakes. Probably the best hotel experience I’ve ever had."
