"I highly recommend a stay at this historic property in Marvão. It has an old world charm and the amenities are excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable, brightly lit, the breakfast superb and the view from the dining room is amazing. The staff were friendly and most helpful."

"The breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant. Only complaint was that we didn’t get the room that we paid for. I paid for a terrace and mountain view but got a small window overlooking an inner courtyard."
