"this was the best accommodation we had in sardinia.. the villa was lovely and the host was very friendly and helpful.. wonderful breakfast laid out ready for you in the mornings.. would recommend this property.. very quiet area despite being near trainline/station, but within walking distance of a few restaurants.. "L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"

"Michele was very responsive & welcoming from the time I booked the accommodation. He sent a few links to places to see in Carloforte plus the ferry timetable which were all very helpful. Our room was very quiet, clean with a comfortable bed. Although breakfast wasn’t included, there is a kitchen with utensils, etc that one can use for a take out meal. Would highly recommend staying here. "

"We had a great time staying at this place for more than two weeks, which was made possible by an affordable price. Charming room in a 200 years old building in the center of Iglesias. Lots of history around. Excellent city vibe. Great dining options. 15 min from the closest beach. Very convenient if you are looking for a place to sleep and explore the island during the day. Hosts are wonderful, warm and welcoming people. They made our stay an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this...

"We had an incredible 4 weeks in this property with friends and family, including babies and children. The location and view are just amazing. The owner was incredibly helpful and arrange periodic cleaning and fresh linens. I can highly recommend it and would love to return. The views from the roof terrace are stunning and the beach is incredibly child friendly and stunning blue. "

"Rooms very basic - only 1 plug in room for tv behind furniture so not easy for charging. Reception staff were just ok - wouldn't let us use outdoor pool at 8.10pm after arrival in motorbike gear in 33° - which would have been a godsend (closed 10 mins prior). Was main reason we booked this place. The restaurant was good - excellent pizza and good prices."

"We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are really welcoming and friendly, it was particularly nice to meet Rodney who spoke perfect English and introduced us to some wonderful new drinks while we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located overlooking the beach and so as you fall asleep you can listen to the waves. It’s a perfect base for exploring some of the adjacent islands and trips to Porto Flavia. We had such a good time, we forgot to take shots of the room, but the best thing is the photos on the website are representative of the hotel. Go on… book it! "
