Peaceful and quiet

A quiete and peaceful house 4 big sized bedrooms a dining and sitting room and a large covered veranda a fully equipped kitchen.The one drawback is the lack of bathrooms.ie.2 large shower rooms and only 1 W.C. The outside of the house with the pool was very large with a track at the back to walk to the village about 10mins. A car is required as it's rural

Je rejoins le précédent commentaire, c’est dommage qu’il y ai pas assez d’avis sur cette maison, au début nous avions quelques craintes. Mais à force de discuter par SMS avec les propriétaires nous étions rassurés et à notre arrivée tous étaient comme annoncé. Maison assez isolé de la ville de Carcassonne (8 mins en voiture du centre), 5 mins pour le carrefour et le reste de la zone commercial. Il y a 4 belles chambres et un mini studio à l’écart, aucunes climatisations mais en fermant les volets en fin de mâtiné et en ouvrant tôt le matin / tard le soir voir la nuit la maison se rafraîchi sans problèmes. Les moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres sont + qu’appréciable surtout la nuit. Une cuisine fonctionnelle, salon / salle à manger mis a disposition, 2 salles de bains sont également à l’étage. Au sous-sol nous avons eu le plaisir d’avoir un garage pour mettre à l’ombre les voitures, une salle de tennis de table et une buanderie avec machine à laver / congélateur. L’extérieur est relativement grand, trop grand à force de faire les aller-retour entre la terrasse et la cuisine, la pisicine est grande avec tous le nécessaire (transats, boues, frites). Nous avons également apprécié faire des barbecues au charbon quasiment tous les jours. Pour finir les propriétaires sont géniaux, ils viennent très tôt pour arroser et nettoyer la piscine ou encore lorsque nous avons des soucis (une coupure de courant et un frigorifique fatigué), nous les remercions !

Idéal pour la famille au cœur de l’Aude

Bonne communication avec les propriétaires via l’application. Il s’agissait de leur première mise en location. Accueil agréable le jour de l’arrivée. Les informations concernant la maison sont claires. Maison aux volumes appréciables. Nombreux couchages. Plusieurs salles d’eau. La mise à disposition des draps et serviettes est un plus non négligeable. Le nécessaire au quotidien est présent. Jolie attention avec le vin offert par les propriétaires ainsi que par la mise à disposition d’un lit bébé ainsi que d’une baignoire pour bébé. Les propriétaires (ou la voisine) effectuent en début de matinée l’arrosage des massifs et l’entretien de la piscine en toute discrétion. Ils savent être présents pour répondre aux besoins si nécessaire. Piscine sécurisée par abri et alarme. La maison est plutôt bien située, en campagne, à proximité de Carcassonne, vue un peu cachée sur la cité médiévale depuis la véranda panoramique, et de nombreux sites à visiter. Deux books réalisés par les propriétaires recensent l’essentiel de ce qui est à voir et à faire. La route peut être un peu dérangeante la nuit lorsque les fenêtres sont ouvertes (avantage et inconvénient de l’emplacement ). Un deuxième jeu de clés serait un plus si les locataires désirent se séparer pour les visites ou activités. Ce qui nous a le plus manqué reste la climatisation pour les jours de grosses chaleurs. Ce fut dans l’ensemble est une belle semaine de vacances en famille, notre première via Abritel, et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir visiter la région. Je recommande cette location.
