Eco-friendly holiday home at the gateway to the marshlands!

Our spacious and comfortable holiday home accommodates up to 7 guests. Located in the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Nature Park, it’s close to historic sites, the D-Day Beaches, and the center of Carentan.



The ground floor features a large open area: a dining room opening onto the kitchen and veranda, and a living room with two sofa beds for extra sleeping space, separated by a sliding partition. The entrance gives you access to the shower room, separate toilet, and staircase. The house is heated by a wood stove.



Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed, the other with three single beds, plus a shower room with toilet. Baby equipment is available on request.



On the landing, there’s a relaxation area with a bench.



The south-facing façade and veranda open onto a 40 m² terrace and a private, enclosed garden. Parking is at the rear in a private courtyard with three spaces, two under a carport where an electric vehicle charging station is available.



Carentan les Marais offers historical heritage, guided tours, a marina with tree-lined promenade, towpath, and river trips to explore the marshes, ensuring you have a pleasant stay. The house is ideally located for visiting the D-Day Beaches: Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Pointe du Hoc.



The following services are not included in the rental and are available for an extra fee: bed linen, towels, and household linen.
