"Experiencia maravillosa, excelentisimo servicio, excelentes comidas y bebidas y muy buen precio para ser Costa Rica. Hermoso lugar, la playa maravillosa. Todo fabuloso, quizas el unico pero es que no tiene aire acondicionado y el ventilador de techo no es tan eficiente lo que hace que se tengan las ventanas abiertas y entran mosquitos. Fuera de eso SENSACIONAL, claro que volvería y lo recomendaría! Especialmente felicitacion a Angelo, Jessie, y Laurita que nos dieron un super servicio!!!!!"

"Excellent stay at Mawamba lodge. Gardens around the ground are great and we saw sloths and Toucans a short walk from our room. Breakfast was great as was the dinner we had at the restaurant. Pool can get quite busy with families and children. Town is only a short walk away or they can provide a river taxi. Also took part in the tours arranged by the hotel which was fantastic with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would highly recommend it visiting Tortuguero "

"We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and the hole shed dug, still a memorable experience A highlight were the iguanas lounging around the pool with us and the macaws hanging out in the trees "

"This place was amazing and exactly what we wanted. Quiet, right across from the beach and fairly priced! The food was great from the breakfast buffet to dinner as well as dessert! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area!"
