"We stayed overnight in a cute little room that had lots of light. The bed was comfortable, there was a coffee maker, and fridge, TV, two very comfortable chairs and table between them. We didn’t eat in the dining room but my husband said it looked really lovely inside. The fellow who checked us in was so nice!! There is a gravel parking area. I’m sure when the flowers are out the property looks beautiful. "

"Unfortunately to arrived very late, leaving early in the morning for Bella Coola. I wished we could have stayed a couple of days! We were in a small cabin that was absolutely wonderful. Modern and comfy with everything we needed. The 2 queen beds in the loft were so comfortable with very nice bedding and pillows. The grounds were rustic but the other cabins and the lodge looked as lovely as our little cabin. This is a place I will definitely come back to stay for more than one night!"

"If you reserve a room w a jetted tub make sure you ask for room 203 to get the one pictured on the website. Rm 207 also has a lovely tub and interior but, sadly no couch Other than that miscommunication we had a lovely time and will definitely be back"

"Booked at last minute as I was getting too tired to drive anymore, and apparently got the last room. I was so pleasantly surprised! I appreciate that the owners of this property have embraced it's history and decorated with period furniture pcs., however have tastefully upgraded the bathrooms which are very new and clean, and the bed was super comfortable with nice linens and pillows. A little bar fridge which stocked bottled water which I appreciated, a nice pull down blackout shade on the window and an in-room coffee/tea station. I never heard noise at all throughout the night considering it was a full house, must have very good wall insulation between rooms. The other best part was the price!!"

"** New Ownership-Under renovations The staff were friendly and helpful when we stayed Pool/hot tub was not working I spoke to staff and they came up with a solution we could use local recreational centre and keep the receipt and they would reimburse us also one of the beds in our room /sons was uncomfortable I suggested they purchase bed toppers-manager said they will order they have continental breakfast as well as it was nice to be centrally location walking distance to an amazing bakery, Granville, coffee shop as well as several restaurants/movie theatre and grocery /liquorstore very convenient"

"A perfectly adequate room for a short stay for a weekend wedding. The pros: Our room was spacious, clean, recently updated, no cigarette smell, the AC unit worked really well, and the bed and linens were comfortable. The attached Denny's is very convenient, especially for meeting up with a small-to-medium sized group of people. The cons: The indoor pool is heavily featured but was not open and apparently hasn't been open for about a year, there is only an elevator in the part of the building with suites so be prepared to haul luggage up 1 or more short flights of uneven stairs. The ongoing renovation does not inspire a lot of confidence when you arrive, especially with lack of safety and accessibility features like missing handrails on both sides of the staircases, peeling wallpaper, unfinished walls etc., but our room felt like an oasis in the chaos."
