"Great little spot in a great town. The staff were very helpful and nice, the rooms were very clean and had good amenities. Internet and TV in the rooms worked perfectly. We had our pets with us and they have a dog park in site which is great! Would stay here again definitely"

"We reserved a two bed room, which we received, without knowing it was up two flights of stairs. But the owner carried our two heavy suitcases up the stairs so that was ok. The room was fine. The staff were very helpful. The location was very good. Free street parking was quite available. Without reservations they let us buy dinner because we were staying there, despite crowds of people waiting to be seated. The dinner food and alcoholic drinks were quite good. Our only less than good was breakfast. No choices, just one set meal. Minimal fresh fruit. No waffles or pancakes or oatmeal or fresh baked muffins or crescents from the bakery next door. Unusual for a relatively expensive bed and breakfast to skimp on the breakfast. Usually the home baked muffins are the clincher for the great stay. This time it turned an A rating in to a BPlus."

"Michael and Peter were excellent hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay and would stay there again if we return to that part of Nova Scotia. Beautiful old home in town, converted to a clean and cozy B&B. Couldn’t have been happier!"

"Amazing property! Impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable and every detail / potential need attended to. Location is perfect… walkable to shops, eateries, historic sites and offers a peaceful water view from a private deck. We only wish we could have stayed longer!"
