"We stayed as part of a large group for a nearby family wedding. Staff were friendly. Hotel is a beautiful very old building. Breakfast was lovely. Spa was really good. Bonus was the parking and swim spa are free to guests. Room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed. My only complaint is that we were the only ones from our 12 rooms booked by family and friends that had an attic room that was very hot and a blacked out small window with only a view of the hotel workings below. That has put me off returning. Even though, if you can get a better room I would still recommend this hotel. Great price and location."

Residents only have access 7-9am and 8-9pm! otherwise its £15 pp additional charge. Breakfast plentiful but advise arriving early as items were running out fast and lack of staff caused delays. There is a restaurant/bar, food average nothing exceptional and quite pricy."
