  • Great family location, we do not cater to a "spring break" crowd. DOG FRIENDLY BUT DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE. Neighborhood consists of full time homeowners, apartments, hotels restaurants and convenience store and other vacation rentals. We provide beach gear, EV charger, AC, fire pit, outdoor shower. NO TV or WASHER/DRYER.

Absolutely wonderful! The house is cute, clean, and very functional. The yard is fantastic with privacy, an outdoor shower, and lovely greenery. Quiet street with a quick walk to the beach and to town. Jim is an excellent host. Appreciate the parking and the sense of safety as a woman traveling alone.

We met Jim when we were checking in, and he was super friendly, chatting with us for a bit. Everything was spotless and tidy. We were easily able to walk to and from downtown and the beach daily. Plus, the outdoor area was so peaceful, it was a real treat!

Great vrbo

Surfer vibe vrbo that is close to the beach and restaurants. Board and Brew has delicious sandwiches and is a 5 minute walk. The patio is really nice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway Cottage

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary weekend and it was absolutely adorable. The location is perfectly located within walking distance of downtown shops and restaurants as well as the beach, and the outdoor yard area is very serene. Would love to stay again next time we're in Carlsbad.
