"I've been traveling throughout New Mexico for over a year now and this is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in at around the $150 price point and below."
"Excellent place to stay. Close to Carlsbad Caverns and dining options. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the room was sclean. I would stay here again."

Explore the great outdoors at Carlsbad Caverns National Park Visitor Center, a lovely green space in Carlsbad. Discover the area's desert landscape and seek out the hiking trails.
Descend 750 feet below ground to explore the otherworldly formations of Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Arrive at dusk in summer to witness thousands of bats spiral out of the cave entrance in a mesmerising natural spectacle.
Carlsbad isn't much of a destination, but there are enough things to do nearby that make it a nice place to go for a short vacation. We visited Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe Mountains, Sitting Bull Falls, Living Desert Zoo, museum, and river area.

Bat flight at the caverns was incredible as well as the natural trail and main room trail. Please note that you must have a time reservation online or you may not be able to enter the cave that day.

The city has experienced a good amount of growth in terms of its hotels and commercial offer, and that is a good thing however, it's still expensive for what it is.

We came for "the cave" experience. We got what we bargained for---we walked the whole thing from top to bottom--alot for 2 old ladies! We went into town and had some wonderful experiences ---particularly at Mariscos El Bouchon and The Trinity Hotel!
"Nice room, very large with a private toilet and shower, plus a semi private sink area, I thought that was a nice touch. The area around it was a good vibe with a restaurant and small grocery store. Perfect if you are going to the cavern, it's literally right there. "
