"This was an interesting property that was private, close to the beach (not a large beach, but big enough for walking and beach combing), and roomy. The only negative for me was a musty smell of mildew, which didn’t seem to bother anyone else in my party, so maybe it was just me."

"the room was nice and spacious, the staff was very kind and thoughtful, and it was a clean space! only downside was the noise level. I was near the elevator and would hear anytime there was a lot of commotion/loud speaking. And could hear any dragging from the floor above me. But besides the noise, i enjoyed the stay!"

"Perfect vacation spot for our group!We stayed with a group of 10 including 6 kids aged 2-11 and no one was ever bored! From the backyard to the welcome snacks to the extra toiletries, these hosts check every single box. We will absolutely be recommending this spot to friends and look forward to staying again hopefully next summer!"

"We had a wonderful stay. We love to cook and the kitchen was great to prepare meals together. Love the big island and counter space. Everything is newly remodeled and after a day at the beach, it was so nice to shower in the beautifully tiled bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and relaxing on the reclining sofa was a highlight for our son. Regina and her husband are gracious hosts and were very communicative. We also loved Smith Point. The beach is beautiful and we took walks every day through the Fire Island National Park. We saw dolphins and schools of stingrays. We would love to come back!"

"The apartment was perfect for what we needed. My son has baseball games. We were 7 mins from the field. I liked the fact that it had a kitchen and was very clean! It was perfect for our 4 day stay!"

"We were disappointed to not have a working laundry because we specifically needed that for this trip and it was advertised as having a washer and dryer. The home was clean and very simple. We were VERY happy with how well the air conditioner worked throughout the rooms."

"This property was amazing! I hosted a girls weekend with friends and there was so much space, comfortable rooms and a clean house to walk in to. We loved the backyard with the pool and even had a meal out there. Highly recommend for a big group!!"

"The listing said it was 'cozy' but the living room and kitchen were quite spacious with a really big comfy sectional couch. The yard was cute and cozy. I enjoyed my morning coffee sitting in the shade surrounded by lots of trees. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive with any questions or concerns. For example, we asked for more towels and they were quick to provide them. The one thing my wife would have liked was a full length mirror. I would stay there again if I find myself in Mastic Beach."
