"This vacation home is wonderful! It’s situated in an idyllic setting along a river. It’s cozy, peaceful and has all the amenities that you’ll need. Courtney, the host, was a great communicator and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Definitely want to return to this vacation home!"

"Carmel Valley Lodge was amazing! There are so many positive things to comment on! The outdoor life size games like Chess, Connect 4, Jenga were super cool! The pool area was beautiful and quiet - I loved the loungers, the hot tub, the fire pit. My room also had a partially closed off front porch which I enjoyed sitting out there drinking coffee, listening to the birds. There aren't enough words to describe the greatness of the staff - from the greeting when I entered to the small talk about tv shows to the simple check out (P.S. they have a nice shop with lots of hand made items so bring extra spending monies!) Even the young woman setting out breakfast was kind and helpful! The room was lovely, I adore the fireplace, the look and feel of the room felt like home, it was clean and had all amenities needed! As a solo, female traveler I felt safe and taken care of here!"

"Great place! Accurate descriptions. Water pump was a bit noisy when turned on. Comfortable bed. Goats and sheep to keep you company. Super quiet outside; nothing but wildlife sounds. Thank you for great getaway!"

"Nice quiet little place to stay! Check in was a bit tricky. It was hard to tell where we were located. We did get there at night so I think that may have impacted us finding the location. The Vrbo app isn’t very user friendly so that impacted us finding the room as well. The room was VERY clean, modern and both my wife and I agreed that the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable!! More comfortable than our own bed lol. The spot had everything we needed (refrigerator, microwave and stove top) although we couldn’t figure out how to work the stove top. The jacuzzi was great and clean as well! Other than that, no complaints!! Great place to stay and would stay again!"
