Lovely cottage in quiet country hamlet near the Vallee des Saints heritage site

Set in the heart of the beautiful Breton countryside. our 200-year-old stone built, traditional longere offers a comfortable, well-equipped home for a peaceful getaway, as well as an excellent location for exploring the wonderful villages and towns, coasts, hills and countryside of Brittany; - and one of the newest and unique visitor attractions in Brittany, - the Valley of the Saints, with its 176 4-6m high granite statues of Breton saints, is less than 10 minutes away.

The ground floor has a lovely large wood-beamed living room with a Breton fireplace and dining area with patio doors which open out onto the secluded garden. The lounge has a TV with French channels and English freeview box, wifi, a comfortable sofa and leather armchairs, a small library with a sunny reading niche, a games cupboard and CD player. The well equipped kitchen has a cooker, refrigerator, washing machine and microwave and the toilet and bathroom are also on the ground floor

The open staircase leads to two generous sized bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. A further large bedroom is accessed through the double bedroom and has two single beds. It also has a second television with DVD and French channels. All the bedrooms have lovely views across the fields to the nearby Foret de Freau. Bed linen and house towels are provided for all guests and there are thermostatically-controlled electrical convector heaters throughout the house


The patio, sunny garden and South facing frontage of the cottage provide wonderful opportunities for alfresco dining or simply sitting in the sun with wineglass in hand and enjoying the view. The garden and field lane beside it are safe for children.. Garden furniture, a sunlounger a large hammock and a small barbeque are provided, as arefolding chairs you can take to the beach if you need them.

The Gite is suitable for up to four people, or five if you have children, but is also ideal for a romantic getaway for two.
