Property had this California vibe on the inside. Loved the decor. Outside was a hot mess. Old crumbling stairs and walkways. The property was lacking any landscaping.

Beautiful remodeled hotel. Right next to the excellent Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar and beach. The only huge negative were the very bright lights in the hotel room that were not dimmable and exceptionally terrible wi-fi speeds (did not work) Do not plan to stay here while doing work. Otherwise, excellent!

Nice place to stay. Very clean and friendly staff. Great tiki bar and restaurant. Our tiles in our bathroom were loose and sticking up so we stumped our toes a lot. Otner than that it was wonderful.

The hotel is directly on beach with two easy access boardwalks. The staff in the hotel is friendly. The Ocean Grill adjoins it with great drinks and food although the bar staff is neither friendly or attentive to customers, whether busy or not.

Let’s start with. It is currently under construction. Second floor should not be considered “ocean view “ there is a roof obstruction where the seagulls hang out. You can easily hear people come in and out the building. Thee phone did not work. There were no pillows in the room. They advised they don’t have enough. This trip was to relax and sleep well and that did not happen.The pool area needs some love. The best thing about this place was the staff and access to the beach. Staff was pleasant in passing and at the front desk.

The TV in the room sucked, only played 3 channels if that which included the news, some Spanish channels and the Christian channel, wouldn't work for any other channels. The shower had zero water pressure. Honestly too much money spent for those issues.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are bright and cheerful with very comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. Perfect ocean views. I would have liked better sitting options- the sleeper couch was uncomfortable for sitting It’s a great room, but cozy - fine if you are planning to spend most of your time out and about.

Clean and comfortable! The only downside to our specific room, there was a small building directly in front of the balcony. So, it blocked the view to the ocean. Otherwise, it was a great stay for our family!

Golden Sands was a nice place for a pre-Spring getaway with my son and daughter. Balcony had wonderful view of ocean. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. Didn’t go to the onsite restaurant or bar but it seemed okay. Staff were nice and friendly.

We checked in late on Thursday night. The hotel is under construction. On Friday morning, construction started at 7:00 am!! Drilling, hammering…..totally unacceptable for travelers on vacation at a beach resort.

We apologize about the noise issues. As you stated we are doing some renovations to parts of the hotel but you are correct it is unnacceptable for them to start that early. We will instruct the crew to alter their start time moving forward. They will not be performing any work during the weekend.

They are doing upgrades to one of the buildings, which should be done by spring 2024. The room I was in was very nice and well done. The elevator was a little iffy, ice machine that I saw was rusted on the outside. But overall, it was a great, quick stay.

The room was lovely, and very clean. The view and location gave us everything we needed for a feb getaway. The room was a very nice setup, the bed was very comfortable and the furniture was strategically placed for the best function. The balcony was clean and provided a great view of the pier tiki bar. The stairwell and hallways could use a little TLC, but the condition of the room made us forget about the outside.

Spectacular view with ample room. Very convenient to walk down to restaurants and shops. The beautiful beach was just out the back where we could watch dolphins swimming in the ocean. Would definitely stay here again!
