GO BACK IN TIME! Wonderful Authentic Historic Beach House! Bottom Floor - easy living, clean, comfortable, fully furnished and supplied with everything you need for a relaxing stay... pots, pans, dishware, etc. Boardwalk and Gathering Deck atop the dunes provide spectacular views from pier to pier! RENOVATED 2017 interior... upgraded kitchen, entirely new bathroom with tile shower, pedestal sink, new beds, furniture, etc.! And 2016 exterior... new metal roof, newly installed vinyl windows, new fiberglass doors, reconstructed decks... Updated yes, YET maintaining the historic charm such as original wood plank walls and ceilings of yesteryear! With open windows hear the surf just steps away! The strong bones of the beach house have survived five major named hurricanes over the years, yet hear the creaks of the footsteps and faint, muffled joyous laughter of other House Guests above. Even the upgraded blown-in open-cell foam insulation between floors wasn't enough to negate the wonderful sounds of this historic Beach House. We stayed for a night in town for a gymnastics meet. This property was perfect! Beach access was great! Host was wonderful! Will definitely keep this host on our list to rebook if we return to the area!

Overall Great Stay

If we decide to make another trip to the beach, this will be our go to. We are a family of six and we all fit comfortably in the accommodations. The beach was our backyard and absolutely amazing. The neighborhood was quiet, and the host was attentive to whatever needs we had, which wasn't many.

Great stay, very comfy

Love the space. It was cozy & had all the necessities. We were able to text the property owner during our stay & didn’t have any trouble. The only thing we would improve would be parking. Very tight & only enough room for one car so if your coming with others, carpool if possible.

The perfect spot!

This was the perfect spot for my little family’s weekend get away! It was great to be able to walk out onto the beach with my littles whenever we felt like it! Genevieve was super friendly and helpful at check in! The place was very neat and tidy and just the right size for us! We even enjoyed the book “Good night cookies”,that was in one of the rooms, with our 4 year old at bedtime! It is also close to many restaurants, the boardwalk and aquarium! All in all a great stay and hope to be back soon!

The best

I will say this was the best stay anywhere. Perfect location, great host, the place was clean and awesome for me and my 2 kids. We had a blast, and can't wait to come back, going to be my go to place for Carolina Beach.

Short Girls Trip

I took my daughter and her friend for a short overnight girls trip during their Spring break. This rental was perfect for it! I loved how the beach access was right outside our back door. And there were no stairs so I literally could pull my car up so the trunk was right at the front door. It made it super easy to unpack and pack up again the next day. Our host was there to greet us and show us where everything was.

Awesome Place

Awesome property will definitely be going back to this location love the house and the location in reference to the beach. Walk straight to the beach from the back door. Also loved that the owner actually showed us around the property when we arrived that was a great thing compared to most Vrbo places. Loved staying here and will be booking in the future.
