"Had a quiet room at the back upstairs with a nice big bathroom. Fantastic having wine glasses, a corkscrew and mini fridge in the room, we’re in Italy of course! Breakfast was good, including great little bread rolls with options of salami, ham cheese. Host was friendly, central area near the

Nannalia B&B

9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"Quiet, suburban area. Host was great, English not so good but neither was my Italian! Managed to communicate. Had breakfast the one morning and it was really good value for E7 each. 12 minute walk to the square. Some noise if guests are awake early but that’s to be expected in a B&B. Shutters on the window kept the room dark when sleeping. A/C worked well and was quiet when I switched the swing function off. Parking was fine."

Belle Èpoque - La Villa Imperiale

6.0 out of 10, (2)
"Aree comuni interne ben arredate e ricche di quadri o oggetti che davano un tocco di particolarità. Camera essenziale. Arredamento un po' datato e armadio che puzzava di chiuso. La finestra del bagno si apriva solo con forza e si notava che veniva aperta poco poiché i meccanismi non erano assolutamente scorrevoli. Telaio esterno della finestra spellato e vernice che si distaccava, segno che non ha mai subito manutenzione. Pulizia limitata alle zone facili da raggiungere ma non negli angoli...

Convent La Perla - a renovated old convent with swimming pool in Carrara

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"Tons of old world charm. Beautiful renovation with plenty of local marble. Lots of space and privacy. We enjoyed the pool almost every day. Communication with property management was effortless throughout. Susanna and Kerstin were always available and a great source of information about attractions and restaurants. The location is ideal for day trips to Cinque Terre, Pisa, Lucca, Florence, and much more. A rental car is needed to access the property by way of a perfectly safe private road that...
