"At the end of a very busy two week vacation, we were tired and looking forward to returning home. Your staff was so kind and helpful, suggesting we could return our rental auto early and use a cart to carry luggage when we walked to the airport in the morning. "How do I even begin to say how amazing the experience was to stay at The Tides. Our original plans for another B&B were cancelled by mistake and we were stuck without a place to stay shortly before dinner. When we did some research we discovered The Tides. AND WOW WHAT A COMPLETE JOY! It’s better than we could have imagined. From the moment we walked into meet it hosts and saw their beautiful home, to great advice to where we could fine, to the amazing accommodations and the breakfast of Irish perfection—wow! (we felt like it was the way traveling used to be…no hotel or hurried attitudes—-only being with real people who wanted to take care of us). It was by accident we found The Tides, but it will be on purpose that we want to return and tell everyone how worth Ballybunion is because The Tides made us feel welcomed and rested and fed with the best Ireland could offer! Thank you Doreen & David and to Expedia for offering The Tides! "

"I was extremely grateful for the service given to me at the hotel. I most appreciated the resteraunt for helping me put together a catering order for up to 11 people. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. A big shout out to receptionists who made our accommodations so comfortable. "

"We enjoyed our stay and how original this home was. The hot tub and creek out back was so relaxing after a day of traveling. We didn’t cook while there so I can’t remark on cooking supplies and etc. I think some shelving in the large wardrobes in bedrooms would help a lot. We used the extra small table in the utility area to lay out our clothes so we didn’t have to get into luggage everyday. They had plenty of extra covers/pillows in 2nd bedroom. They also had toilet paper and paper towel for arrival which was nice. The parking issue mentioned in another review is no problem at all it’s literally 10 feet from the gate of the house. We would definitely stay again! It’s a beautiful area and the owner at Hughes bar told us to go to Brownes bar for live music on a Friday night and it was the highlight of our trip. Beautiful place with the friendliest people. "
