The balcony view was nice. The room was clean and spacious. The grounds were well cared for. The mini golf course was fun for all. Overall a wonderful place to stay with family and enjoy nature.
This was a State Park Lodge that was 'good bag for the buck' stay. Nice clean/maintained property/facility as were the room/amenities. Onsite restaurant available with 'good enough value' menu/buffet offerings. For a 1-night lodging, would stay again if in the area, State park offers very nice facilities with multiple activity sites worth exploring and enjoying.

Came as a solo female traveler and felt completely safe. The room was nice, but the bed absolutely was the best part. I slept like a baby—which is not always common for me at hotels. I will definitely be back when I have time to explore the park!
The room was clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool looked amazing, even though we didn't swim at this visit. There are plenty of places to sit outside and walking trails, also we saw tennis courts. We will plan to visit again, hopefully in the fall because the view would be amazing with so many trees. We also had their buffet it was pretty good.
The facility is old and in need of updates. The section we stayed in wouldn’t support microwaves or blow dryers in the rooms due to fuses blowing. The shower knob was stuck and maintenance had to come fix it.
It’s a lovely park and the room was clean. There is a restaurant at the lodge that serves good food, but hours are reduced in the off-season.
Very quiet, clean and private. Pet-friendly area with short trails and a great disc-golf course across the street. Hiking, nice views - we love this area and enjoy staying there when attending music festivals & such in nearby Madison.
Lovely setting amongst the trees and awesome view upon entering lodge. Friendly staff and lodge room was spacious and clean. Pool is a gem! We experienced 90 degree heat so just stayed in the pool. Salad bar at restaurant was a must. Food on menu seemed pre-packaged. Great stay!

Loved this hotel, beds wonderful, rooms clean, will be back
What a hidden gem! Stunning and spotless property. So many things to do, hiking, camping, boating, relaxing, there is a huge pool and hot tub on the resort property. The cabins are more secluded but not far, giving you privacy and everything you need. The desk staff were just so friendly and helpful! The view from the balcony and huge room upstairs in the lobby is stunning! I cannot wait to go back! The restaurant is not open every day, depending on how booked their hotel is so make sure to check. It is also close to some really cute towns to explore.
This was a beautiful, peaceful place. The breakfast was top notch. We stayed for a quick overnight on a road trip, but would have loved to stay longer.
