Quiet house in the woods
Very nice house in a beautiful, quiet location. The house is older, but well maintained with beautiful decor. The kitchen is well stocked, but the bathrooms were limited.. no hairdryer, or soap in the showers. The TV had a glitch, it worked but was sort of irritating to watch because of the glitch. Overall we truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again.

Fun and Sweet Space but very sparse
Lovely spot. Very limited cookware so plan on bringing everything you need. Sparsely furnished (no rugs etc.) but a lovely location. Little things missing (like coat hooks) that would add to convenience. Clean and pleasant just bring every single thing you need (except towels.) It is a beautiful location and cute house.

Away From it all
Stayed here for Thanksgiving. The cabin is in a very peaceful setting, with several areas to walk to and explore or drive around. The house was very cozy, quiet and had pleny of room for myself, spouse and our 2 dogs. The cabin was clean, odor free, plenty of blankets, towels and pillows. The mattresses are a type of memory foam, too soft for me but ok. Since we celebrated Thanksgiving at this cabin we made the traditional turkey dinner, only thing we did need that the cabin did not have was measuring cups/spoons. I'm really happy the county is restoring these 1930 era cabins and making them available for rent. It's an amazing setting. I can't wait to return. And highly recommend.

Mt. Baker house
The house was wonderfully clean. Nice! The heat pump however, could not keep up with the cold weather: 27 degrees nights and 37 degree days. We came to enjoy the views of the Wind River nursery since I worked there 50 years ago and there is a Port O Potty right in the line of sight out the living room window. A bit of a disappointment! Seems like it could be better placed!!!

We loved it, recommend it, and would do it again.
Nice place, my family loved it. I would use it again given the chance and recommend it highly. Fabulous location. Easy access to Carson and Stevenson, so had everything we could need. Plentiful hot water and the owners left plenty of towels. Beds are comfortable and warm and the kitchen has all the basics you need for coffee, refrigeration, utensils, etc. There is a TV, and the owners have provided a DVD player. The absence of Wi-Fi precludes any streaming and there is no point in putting a TV antenna on because there are no standard TV signals out here (at least according to antennaweb.org). We had a great time and didn't miss the TV.
