There is a refrigerator in the room, but you will need to purchase items to have inside. You can walk on path through the woods to small stores for drinks and snacks. Boat arrives before checkin time, and after checkout time. Be prepared for that. Breakfast starts at 7:00. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This stay was a last minute stay after our initial accommodations were un-inhabitable. Staff was friendly and property had nice beach seating areas and dining. Island is very primitive with no vehicles that I’m aware of minus motorcycles. I would have just done a day excursion to Rosario islands knowing what I know now. For the area this was a good hotel and had several day excursion boats coming through each day.

Amazing hotel! We had a fantastic stay — the staff were incredibly attentive, the restaurant food was absolutely delicious, and the beach was beautiful and relaxing. We loved everything about this place and will definitely come back.

The breathtaking beach and views blew me away! This is not a place for partying, more so for families and couples-maybe even a group of friends. This does not have a party scene at all. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to order so much because several reviews said the menu items were limited, we ordered calamari, robalo, pizza and seafood pasta. All dishes were filling and delicious!

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Two beaches, one for guests only and one for guests and day visitors. Beaches are nice - pretty but small and there is a lot of broken coral in the shallows so take some water shoes. Do not be put off by big blue building - this is not part of main hotel where buildings are more rustic and attractive (I think this is just storage /service area), you don’t really see it while staying. Staff were all great, very friendly and always helpful and the food was all good. Prices are not cheap but I think that’s across all island hotels. I had great boat tour of islands including snorkelling, which was better than I expected - saw a lot of fish species and a turtle. Quieter than other hotels on the island but that suited me and lovely to be on a real beach. I would book here again if visiting the islands

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Beaches are nice. Food is good and staff are friendly. This is a place to just come and chill out. Snorkeling at the mini beaches is pretty dull but you can take mini boats for a small fee out 10 Minutes and see incredible coral and fish. We would totally come back here!

Excellent hotel, very relaxing. Food was delicious, all the staff make you feel Wellcome. Ezequiel took as o. A tour on the manglares it was the best. Walking in the island was great. Totally recommend to anyone. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen.

the setting is beautiful, with small but very lovely beaches. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. the meals were good. It would have been nice to have access to boiled drinking water without having to purchase plastic bottles every time, especially in an ecolodge! it could also get quite loud in the afternoons with music blaring but overall a very lovely spot.

I loved the place. There weren't many people so I had the island for myself pretty much! Loved it... The beds are HARD, but I slept well on them. BRING REPELENTS! jejenes will sting you bad and ruined your trip! They should proactively warn about this.

Coco loco relaxing stay

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The location is really good (probably the best on the islands) with 2 sandy beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful for us who visited for the first time. We enjoyed the services of all staff but especially Dajver, Valentina, Byron and the receptionist - great coco loco! The restaurant menu can get quite repetitive and the prices are quite high for people staying there 6 nights as there are no other options to dine nearby in the night. Would be good if they had a separate discounted menu for hotel guests vs day trippers. They have day trippers visiting everyday from 10am-2:30 which we thought was good as it gets quiet in the night here, bar closes at 10pm. We walked around the island during the days and you can buy beer, water etc within 15 min walking. Download maps.me for the walking paths! All in all we were very happy with the stay and was very relaxing, even though we were unlucky with the weather 3 days with strong winds.

The view from the cabin we rented was breathtaking, just as I imagined. The cabin is in good condition but be aware of a bit of privacy issue ( some workers use the back of the property as a shortcut to move to the next property) The bathroom roof is half uncovered but private, just be aware if it rains you will see water inside the shower area ( I was there during dry season). Also right around 4 pm the cabin was hit with very strong winds and we were not able to sit outside to enjoy the view, it seemed like a storm was approaching but this seemed to be a normal occurrence. Vendors can be a nuisance, they are relentless, the ones selling in a boat have good products but not a significant difference in price for the same product at the property's bar. Beware of money change, if you do not have the exact amount those vendors will keep the change and you will never see it again. I think the hotel should do something more proactive to curb this issue. I will recommend the hotel provide drinkable water and be more conscious about cleaning the furniture, there were a lot of flies. The workers seemed overwhelmed not enough staff, they needed to be reminded about a request more than once.

Not ready for prime time…

To start… I understand there was a change in management just days before we stayed there, so perhaps they are just getting organized… The hotel is on a beautiful piece of property with two lovely, swimming/soaking beaches and a lovely outside dining area. Loud reggaeton blaring… we finally asked them to switch to salsa but still LOUD and constant.If not your thing this will be an issue… The property is in overall good condition… but some key things lacking. Rooms are huge, sheets/beds comfy. Furniture is a few mismatched pieces of all wooden furniture… Out of place for the island.. and there was absolutely no place to put any clothing. No closet/no hangers/no hooks… This is a beach resort! No place to hang wet clothes, inside or out… No place for sandy shoes! We had to hang stuff on the one chair in the room. Cable wires were strung over the curtain rods. No water except small overpriced bottles for purchase. Restaurant was tasty, tho overpriced, and also just organized. Stopped serving dinner at 8:30 without prior notice… But kind waiter made a special exception to give us one entrée but no dessert or extras.. goodbye! You are really isolated, so I have no opt out option. Front desk was a disaster… asked for tour information and they were no help Turned out the hotel right next-door offered a night snorkel in the adjacent bioluminiscente bay.. Check out was chaos. Very complicated with much follow and no resolution… I’m still owed money. Not much but annoying.

Very nice resort

Nice hotel, good location, 10 min walk to playa libre, very quiet resort, great food, bed are comfy and room is large. Lack of space to hang towels and swimsuits to dry. could fix the window shade who are broken. No water heater but who need it when it’s 35C. If looking to relax and read a book it's the best place. there is 2 beaches which is great, not a lot of hotel on the island have one.

It is in a nice location, however, access to and from the island is highly limited, only once per day in the morning for arrivals and once per day in the afternoon for departures. If one misses either, than one must organise one's own travel to and from the island, which is expensive and difficult to organise.

The restaurant food was exceptional, but they need to have the menu translated into different languages and have pictures of each dish. All the food was freshly prepared and cooked, they even changed the menu to accommodate me.The beach was amazing and the staff was very accommodating to non Spanish speaking people. What I appreciated most of all was the honesty of the staff. I would recommend this resort for relaxation as there is no night entertainment, but they certainly have areas to accommodate parties.

The beach was beautiful, our room was nice and the staff were great however the property was just missing something, needed more music with dinner etc and some activities to be included ie bikes and kayaks. Limited food options for vegetarian which was hard bc you’re fairly isolated from other restaurants etc. we had a good stay but these things definitely could have taken it from good to great

Unfortunately not a nice experience

We unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, mainly because of the following reasons: - no boat transfer to the island and no support at all when reaching out to the resort (incl. no person speaking English at all); we tried to reach out via phone, WhatsApp and e-mail but did not receive any response - they market an own restaurant with broad dish options and they offer you a big menu but in fact they only had 5-6 dishes available for dinner from that menu, and no vegetarian dish at all - no warm water at all even though indicated otherwise online
