A Great Stay - D Day 2024

An amazingly tranquil place to stay in the Normandy countryside. Beaches and Memorials are just a short drive away. We cannot say enough about the host Virginie. She is a very warm and inviting person who we enjoyed conversing with despite our extremely limited french language skills. The grounds of this property are spacious, well maintained and beautiful! We highly recommend a stay here.

Nice Quiet Break Near D-Day Beaches and Bayeux

We stayed for three nights and it was a welcome change of pace from our busy sight-seeing. My kids especially loved the ducks. :-) Some things to know - plan on being offline, there is no wifi. And I wish that all the possible extra costs (sheets, bedding, maid service, additional deposit) were already included in the VRBO pricing as it was a little stressful to try and understand and a bit of a cost surprise.

It was everything and more. The hosts (Stephane & Virginie) were amazing, so very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The gite was clean and spacious a real home from home. Plenty of parking inside a locked & gated area. Looking forward to seeing them again next year.

Das parkähnliche Außengelände hat einen sehr großen Erholungswert. Der Pool lädt Kinder zum Spielen ein. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Virginie & Stéphane bereiten einem eine sehr schöne Zeit, sind sehr zuverlässig, und haben sehr gut auf kleinere Probleme reagiert. Wissenswert: Das Haus ist hellhörig und die WLAN -abdeckung & -geschwindigkeit nicht gut.Wir haben Aufenthalt genossen.

Nous avons était accueilli avec une bienveillance que j’ai apprécié énormément, les propriétaires on était super nous on bien conseillé et ont était à notre écoute dès que l’ont en avait besoin ! Un moment de calme dans ce gîte magnifique ! Tout et à disposition pour passer un moment agréable ! La nature , des canard ou des oies ( je sais pas trop ) des jeux pour les enfants , la piscine ! Le gite est idéalement situé pas trop loin des plages du débarquement mais suffisamment pour être au calme. Nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse du gite et du grand parc bucolique mais aussi de la piscine. Virginie est charmante et toujours aux soins pour ses hotes. Bref, une adresse qu'on aimerait garder secrète pour être sûr d'y avoir de la place !

Séjour très agréable avec les enfants

Gîte très bien équipé. L'accès à la piscine chauffée est un vrai plaisir pour les grands et les petits. Les plages se situent à environ 20 minutes en voiture. Des jeux sont mis a disposition, mention spéciale au trampoline, balançoires et tour en barque sur l'étang.
