"Upon arrival front desk reception was abrupt and businesslike. The following morning we reported that the shower wall had a number of long, black hairs plastered to it. We also mentioned that the soap plunger was hardly working. The main desk person was sympathetic and asked when we would be out of our room for the day. When we returned, a portion of the shower hairs still remained on the wall. The soap plunger wasn’t touched. A number of employees offered friendly service. A beautiful, old landmark in need of some updating."

"It was a great trip. So happy we went there. Room was great and had everything we needed. Pool, hot tub and bird sanctuary was enjoyable. Nice that it is a quiet area. You can walk along the lake front quite aways thru different waterfront parks. Shaughnessy Cove was great to eat at next door as well as the hotel restaurant. Already planning to go back in the fall."

"Our room had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room was large and super comfortable. It was a warm day and the room was air conditioned for our arrival. We just opened the window and slept comfortably with the fan."

"Such a cute place! Beautifully maintained. Loved our patio room and that they allowed our dog. Very comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back to stay next time we are in Leavenworth."
