"This was an outstanding house with plenty of space! It was exceptionally clean and the view was stunning. We got out hiking in the mornings and enjoyed the hot tub in the afternoons and evenings. Although it's close to the highway, we could not hear the traffic noise on the back patio and only the rushing of the river. There were even two bald eagles that we saw multiple times soaring up and down the river! This was a perfect peaceful getaway."
"We are all city dwellers. As each family arrived, we stood quietly listening to the silence (it's golden!). The peace was just what we all needed and it is expansive. Watching the light change on the hills and trees over the day, looking out for the deer and her fawns, eating meals and making s'mores on the back deck, working together in the kitchen, taking in the beauty of the landscaping . . . all with no rushing around. What a balm! Our family ranges from retirees to a 16 month old toddler and this luxurious home had something for us all. The hideaway play area for kids under the stairs is a gem! Kristin, our host, made herself available for any questions we had, but since the guidelines were clear and concise, I think we ignored her all weekend. We are looking forward to returning for our next extended family getaway."
"The place was amazing. Get the backstory from the owners.
Everything was great.
What I didn't like is that the weekend ended and I had to go home.
Thank You Steve and Tracy
Amazing Hosts"
"Comfortable, clean, quiet, and charming
Third time stayed here, and I'll be back again. Perfect for a quiet getaway, everything you need, nothing you don't. "
"Beautiful location right on the river. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck outside, watching the river flow by. Kitchen well equipped, used the microwave and refrigerator. Did not get a chance to enjoy the fireplace, but living room / TV room was very comfortable. Appreciated hosts willingness to let us drop of some of our perishables at the house before check in time. We'll rent this place again!"
"Nice little place near the river. Had a great TV and a nice big bed. We were able to cook breakfast before we left and had decent access down to the river to see the sites. Had a nice bench to sit on next to the river. Had a fire pit in front of the house that we would’ve used if we were staying longer than one night. It was definitely a nice place and I would stay there again."
"We were there for an anniversary party. We called Door Dash the first morning and got breakfast delivered to our room which was great. Wasn't at the hotel much except to sleep."
