"Our stay at Santa Bárbara Hotel was fantastic. The location in the heart of Altea’s Historic Center is perfect — everything is walkable, from restaurants to bars. The view from our room was stunning and made the experience unforgettable. The staff is genuinely friendly, and Madara welcomed us warmly with great recommendations — the communication throughout our stay was excellent. Be mindful that the hotel doesn’t offer parking since the area is fully pedestrian, but it was totally worth it for the charm, comfort, and overall experience. Highly recommended."

"Really lovely place by the beach. Warm welcome from the lady who does the housekeeping. Lovely terrace, spacious clean room, with a lovely partial sea view. Good air con. "Absolutely incredible view from the master bedroom balcony: simply idyllic! The whole house is very spacious, with plenty of room for guests to spread out. Kitchen is well equipped. Lovely decor. Very clean. Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well. Fans available in the other areas of the house. Location is just under the main church plaza, with easy access to the beach and the waterfront promenade. A small supermarket is within walking distance if you want to pick up basic groceries without needing a car. Expect steep stairs up and down from the old town to the waterfront: it gets easier each day! Taxis can also drop off nearby, if preferred. Hosts were very kind, informative, and responsive! We would stay here again if we were to come back to Altea: it’s a great place to relax and enjoy the slow life in between outings!"
