"Restored farm house in the countryside in a farming area at the foot of the Pyrennees, very quiet and surrounded by farming area, saw a fox, many birds of prey, and some deer. Close to golf courses and famous TdF cycling routes (about 15 minutes by car). Wifi works well, hosts were very friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes from shops, restaurants etc. we enjoyed our stay, far away from the crazy world!"

"The property, the views and the host were simply superb. It's the perfect location for just sitting and staring out over the valley below to the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the distance OR as a base camp for great bike rides, hikes and marché hopping. The only warning, applicable mainly to US visitors, is that you are expected to bring your own bed sheets and towels. Highly recommend; we hope to return soon!"

"Overlooking (arguably) one of the most beautiful valleys in the French Pyrenees, this was a great place for our holiday with three generations of extended family. The late summer weather was exceedingly good, the wildlife numerous and for the most part obliging, and there was a magnificent swimming lake forty minutes away. "We wanted accommodation that had easy access to the mountains but also had a swimming pool. A view of the mountains was essential. This gite ticked all the boxes and we had a fabulous holiday. I agree with all the other reviews; the views, our hosts, the facilities and the cleanliness were all spot on. A week wasn't enough to visit all the places we want to in this stunning region so hopefully we'll return and spend longer in Gites de Bigorre."

"Pre hospital visit. Receptionist excellent, but air con didn’t work, but she managed to apply a fix. Bag of food waste outside our ground floor window prevented us from having the window open."

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."

Great little hotel

"From the friendly texts with entry codes and other information, through to the clean and well equipped accommodation, this place is a great little hotel. Located opposite a swimming pool, and the Agnes Varda Cinema, it couldn't have been more peaceful. Couldn't even hear the goats bleating from the surrounding hills! Have stayed here before. Will stay here again."

"We stayed in an apartment. I loved the property and its relaxed feel and location. Some lovely walks are available close by. The reception staff spoke good English and were very polite and helpful. They are very spacious, warm and clean, but very self contained. The bed was comfortable but pillow choice was limited. Kitchen was nice with 2 hot plates, no oven or frying pan. There is a dishwasher but no washing machine. Unfortunately the WiFi was not working and was not fixed during our stay. Excellent self parking and it was easy to get a good night sleep here. "
