"Beautiful large Arabesque 4 star fuol setvice spa resort about 20 minutes outside of Palermo. Very nicely designed, massive public areas, located in a very peaceful hilly setting, very large rooms, amazing pools and a waterfall feature. Only issue for me were the poorly maintained guestrooms, with low quality soft furnishings. My room had both shower knobs falling off after each use. A few other lack of easy required maintenence issues that really should be immediately addressed."

"A good choice for Palermo. We stayed in a Superior Double for 2 nights and enjoyed it. The hotel was very well located for walking around Palermo and the room was clean and everything in it worked well. The parking facility also worked well – we pulled up outside the hotel (it was easy to avoid the restricted ZTL areas), unpacked our bags and gave our key to the receptionist. Checkout was equally smooth and our car pulled up outside within a few minutes of our request). The parking charge was 23 euros per night but it worked well. We didn’t use the restaurant although we did visit it with the aim of having a drink – we were met with “do you have a reservation as we only have 30 covers”. We were shown a seat but we left before ordering our drink because of the slightly clumsy welcome (I think it was the manager at the time who spoke to us so no reflection on the other hotel staff who were very friendly). It may have just been a translation issue and wouldn’t stop me staying here but reviews are for feedback and if it is just for a drink we would go elsewhere. We did have breakfast in the breakfast room both days and that was good (although they seemed a bit short staffed and therefore slightly rushed they worked hard to keep people happy). There was a decent selection of food and at a decent quality too. We would stay again and the only reason for 4 instead of 5 is that we had better stays on our Sicily trip and have judged this accordingly."

"The room was not cleaned when we got there. They did send someone to clean it right away. It’s very hard to get to if you’re dragging luggage. A lot of uphill broken roads to get there. But it is convent to bus and trains. There is also a step in the middle of the room which is very I convent."
