a bit out of the way
good staff very clean food was a good selection down side is apart from the beach and golf not much else in the area

Cheap not good, good not cheap.
The hotel is cheap for a reason. The 4 starts is a self-rated level, I would say 2 stars is a better reflection. Room was scruffy and in need of a good clean. Facilities are basic at best. They could not find my reservation but let me stay anyway.

Make sure you ask for a room ocean view, riewviews are unsightly. Know at least basic Spanish; only 1 employee could speak English. This hotel was evidently at its prime 20 years ago, now it is dormant and in need of all around upgrades. Close to the beach, but nothing else.

Decent hotel
Room was clean but the service was rather slow, for example the towels were not changed for three days and after we requested fresh ones, we had to wait an hour for someone to supply them. We were quite disappointed with the buffet breakfast range but the condition of the hotel was good and clean, with a great kids club.
