"Thank you to the wonderful team at the W Algarve who made my solo birthday trip a wonderful one. They allowed me to check in early and had decorated the room with messages and even gave me a little sweet treat. Nothing was too difficult for them to sort out and they went above and beyond for me. The room was very big, clean and the bed very very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic!! One of the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. The spa facilities were great and I had a wonderful detox massage....

"On first reflection the villa appeared to be living up to expectations. However once entering the kitchen the stench was undescribable. It made us feel sick so we set about cleaning it which alliviated the stench however it put us off ever cooking in there. We tried to sit on the sun loungers however they were uncomfortable, brittle and felt they would break under pressure so we chose not to use them. We swam most days however could not stay in the pool too long as it was freezing. Therefore...
