Baglio Oneto dei Principi di San Lorenzo - Luxury Wine Resort
10/10 Excellent
"The breakfast was amazing, offering a wide variety of options (the smoothies were made fresh on the spot - highly recommend getting one). Dining at the restaurant for dinner was a fantastic experience with some very tasteful wine recommendations from the sommelier and food recommendations from our server. Such a wonderful experience. The pool provided a truly peaceful atmosphere and was great for swimming and sunbathing. I am looking forward to visiting again soon."
"Miramare Garzia has a lovely location with views over the Mediterranean, easy walking distance of a choice of local restaurants, and is very convenient for Selinunte Archaeological Park. The staff were very friendly.
A couple of points where I think the hotel could improve: firstly, no drinking water is supplied with the room - you have to buy the bottles. This is fairly minor, but is different from every other hotel we stayed in while visiting Sicily. Also, the shower in our room was not great. With a shower curtain surrounding a very small area, it was almost impossible not to get the curtain sticking to you while showering. The shower head also had leaks in various places, leading to spray coming out at various unexpected angles.
Despite the above, I enjoyed our stay at Miramare Garzia, and it was a good, well-priced option for us while touring Sicily."
"The property location is off and the navigators get confused on how to get there. It’s about 12-15 minutes drive to the city center. There are two grocery stores about 5-10 minutes drive. The villa is nice, nice pool, lounge chairs, the stuff is very helpful and friendly, mostly clean and most of the amenities are in working conditions. No restaurants, shops near buy - it’s in the middle of nowhere. Nothing is walkable. The breakfast is poor - the food placed before the cafe is open for it so even coffee is served lukewarm- there is a microwave and you are offered to warm up the coffee that was just served there as well as some food."
"This hotel is right in the center of Alcamo near the piazza. The hotel is charming with friendly staff and a lovely buffet breakfast. The rooms
Are well maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend and stay again in the future."
Almar Giardino di Costanza Mazara del Vallo Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent accommodation and service.
I would recommend a hire car if you wish to get out and about though the hotel can organise taxis and trips.
The spa is an added bonus"
"Our stay was good except the hotel had a large tour group staying at the hotel. When we went for breakfast all inside seating was either used or reserved. We had to sit outside in the bright sun with no wi/fi while 6-8 2 person tables sat vacant until we left. We had hotel reservations just like the tour group and seating should have been on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additionally the breakfast had 1 slow coffee machine for the whole hotel guests breakfasts."
