Beautiful house, immaculate. Spacious rooms and large walk in shower. Well equipped kitchen, warm. No satellite TV unfortunately. Great views all round, the sea and the mountains. Very welcoming with owners parents next door if we needed anything. It would have been useful to have a signpost to the property as we did get lost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Very nicely appointed and large property. In a stunning location with fantastic views. Good location for exploring the Ring of Kerry by car, bike or walking. Everything that you need to some elements need attention. Superficially clean but when you look closer a bit dusty and cob webby. Several light bulbs not working. Quality of bedding is a bit thin and basic. But we were warmly welcomed on a rainy evening and introduced to the property. Enjoyed our stay. P.s Could do with some 'mood' lighting in the lounge.

A Great Place

A great cottage! Great location, just 2 minutes off the Ring of Kerry, with a great beach nearby. Wonderful view every morning across the bay. A really spacious and clean cottage!

A relaxing week in a beautiful setting
We spent a week in this cottage and where very impressed. The cottage has all that you require for a stay (fully furnished living room, kitchen, bathroom) with washing machine and dryer. The spa bath was fantastic. We spent mornings sipping coffee outside on the decking and taking in the view of the Bay. We did some of the walks recommended by the host and her family and went to pier head, o'carrolls cove which was beautiful. The location is well situated for the ring of kerry being just a 2 min drive away and places like Sneem and Waterville a short drive away. We had a really great week here and would definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet relaxing time. Many thanks to the host and her family who checked in on us to ensure we where fine and had all that we required.

Spacious bungalow, just off the Ring of Kerry
The accommodation and facilities were of high standard. The only thing lacking would have been some more comfortable outdoor seating. The location is great for days out to many well-known places. Wonderful scenery, infusing on the doorstep.

Wonderful stay!
We loved staying at Siobhan's cottage -- amazing views, a warm welcome from the host, and easy access to fantastic activities. House was very comfortable for family with 2 kids; kids enjoyed playing on the lawn and the spacious bathrooms were much appreciated come bathtime. We would love to visit again!

Family Holiday in stunning part of Kerry
Situated on a hillside overlooking the sea, field of sheep in front of the house and waking to the sound of them in the morning. This house did not disappoint. Stunning beaches all within minutes drive and a lovely country lane walk to the West Cove Pier picking blackberries on the way. We had young kids and we had to be home early for bath/bedtime, the house was so comfortable and spacious we could relax and enjoy the evenings, not cooped in a small hotel room or apartment. We loved it there.

This is our 2nd stay at this property, It was just as good as the first time we will be back again. Siobhan's parents where great hosts. The area has great beaches and walks very scenic. The house is a home away from home it has everything you could possibly need.

Beautiful well-equipped house
We have just checked out of Siobhan’s property and had a wonderful 3 weeks there. The house is very well equipped with excellent showers, baths and kitchen appliances, bedrooms were all a great size and the outdoor deck and clothes drying facilities were great too. A lovely location for exploring the area, the beaches and walks on the Kerry Way. The house is in a really quiet location and only a short drive to some beautiful beaches too. Thanks Siobhan and to your parents too for the hospitality, we will be back!

Great House and Superb Location
House was immaculate, v roomy, superbly fitted out with every convenience. Nestled on the side of a hill at the end of a rural country lane, just off the Ring of Kerry, the location provided gorgeous views out across the bay. You couldn't wish for a more beautiful spot. Siobhan's parents live just next door and are very welcoming and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this property to all.

Lovely house, lovely location
We were just 4 but the house would easily have accommodated 8. Very well laid out space. Especially noted how warm it was (it's Ireland, sometimes you need heating in August)! You did need a car to get everywhere, nothing really within walking distance, apart from one small bakery, but there are a couple of local shops within 5 minutes drive. Derrynane Beach is close, beautiful blue flag beach. Good proximity to historic sites like Staigue Fort.

Beautiful house and location
We had an amazing stay at Siobhan's cottage. This lovely home is in a great location, so quiet and peaceful with amazing views of the bay from every window. We loved it so much there, we can't wait to return again next year. The house has everything you would need for a family holiday,its a beautiful home. Siobhans parents are right next door and are very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning here again.

Great property and location
Beautiful spacious property in a great location. This property is in excellent condition with everything you need. Noreen, the owner's mother is right next door and very helpful. The only reason for lower communication mark is that I was unable to communicate with owner through the booking site but once we phoned number given and spoke to Noreen all was resolved. No hesitation in recommending this property.

A week on the Ring of Kerry
My family of six spent a week in this fantastic property and we enjoyed every minute. The house was spotlessly clean with lots of room and is within easy reach of several beautiful beaches , horse riding and great pubs with excellent food. We didn't want to leave !

Stunning scenery and beautiful home!
I would highly recommend a stay at Siobhan's Cottage if you want to stay just off the Ring of Kerry. Very quiet peaceful place to stay away from the rush on the Ring, very comfortable rooms, great kitchen and dining room with spectacular views, we especially loved the sheep grazing nearby and sometimes right in the yard. I wish I could have stayed longer than 5 nights. Good food in nearby Caherdaniel at The Blind Piper and O'Carrolls Beach Bar Restaurant, also short drive to either Sneem or Waterville for good food also. It was just lovely to be able to get up early in the mornings and have coffee and enjoy the peaceful morning. Siobhan's parents are right next door to give a helping hand or help with information. I would give Siobhan's Cottage a higher rating if it was possible.

Stunning setting, everything provided, lovely spacious property, help next door if required.
Very enjoyable. Owner's parents in adjoining cottage who provided invaluable help on couple of occasions. Very spacious and well-equipped. Extremely peaceful and great views, especially from the patio. Two minor criticisms - could do with some sort of sign at the end of the track: the owner sent a sketchmap but we would not have found it without (luckily) meeting a local on the track who guided us! Also not enough hangers in the wardrobes, especially given the number of guests it can sleep. Otherwise all OK and a lovely holiday. Thank you.

Fantastic property
Beautiful house and lovely location with ample space for chilling away from the bustle of work. Panoramic views from any window looked out of and when we had 'special' visitors (sheep) who seem to like the lawn made it feel like one with nature (LoL - loved it). Siobhan's mum made us feel most welcome on arrival and we would definitely recommend this property for peace and tranquillity if that's what you are looking for. Jarlath&Colette

Just perfect!!😊
We had booked Siobhan’s beautiful home for just under a week at the end of May. Sadly due to our flights being cancelled we missed out on two nights. However, coupled with the warmest of welcomes from Siobhan’s parents, enjoying the glorious surroundings of sea, mountains, and nature we were fully restored. Each morning we had our cup of tea out on the decking, playing cards or simply chatting away. It was such a lovely start to each day. The cottage is really beautifully decorated and very well appointed - the pictures simply don’t do enough justice as this property is so spacious. We were a party of four - myself, husband, 11 year old son and a Grandma. My mother absolutely loved her break away here, as did we all promising to return as soon as we can get another booking! The location is perfect - far enough to be peaceful yet close enough to enjoy a short car journey to the stunning beaches, restaurants or shops. The only negative is having to leave! 😥

Beautiful!
The cottage was the perfect choice for our family holiday. There was plenty of space for 6+ people, the house was clean and all amenities taken care of. Siobhan's parents, who live next door and help to take care of the property, were friendly, accommodating and always available should we have needed anything The views were spectacular and the house was close to villages for shopping, restaurants as well as several beaches. The directions to get to the house were a not the easiest to follow, however once we called Siobhan's parents they were there immediately to get us on our way! Definitely would recommend this property for both larger and smaller groups of people. Thank you Siobhan for having us at your lovely cottage, as well as to your parents John and Noreen for being wonderful hosts!

Fantastic house with stunning views
Just home from our fantastic stay at Siobhan's cottage. We were greeted by Siobhan's lovely parents who gave us a tour and all the information needed for our stay. The cottage itself is to a very high standard, top quality fitting, power showers, plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 young adults and the wifi certainly went down well with them! To wake up to the view out the front every morning was amazing. We would definitely recommend a stay at Siobhan's cottage, thank you Siobhan for sharing your home and John and Noreen for the wonderful Irish welcome☘️.

Beautiful modern and tasteful house in very quiet and scenic surroundings
Nice reception on our arrival date with all necessary explanations. Very clean and well kept luxurious interior and exterior. Much room and cosy feeling to it. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful home with an even more beautiful view and wonderful hospitality.
We had the privilege of staying in Siobhan's cottage for three nights in June 2017. We would highly recommend this home to anyone traveling to Kerry. We were greeted by her wonderful mother who ensured we had everything we needed. We were a party of 6 adults and one infant. The rooms were very spacious, clean and had everything we needed, even a playpen and highchair! We had a light out and ran out of toilet paper, and Siobhan's parents rushed to fix both problems right away. The house is beautiful and the pictures do not do this place justice. The landscape is gorgeous and the grazing sheep made it even more quiant. If you are traveling to Kerry, book Siobhan cottage now! We will book again and have recommended this place to all our family in Ireland and Canada.

Für uns alles Bestens
Es war ein sehr schönes Haus.Uns hat alles gefallen und es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Sogar eine Kaffeemaschine gibt es. Allerdings sollte man Filtertüten in grösserem Shop kaufen.Die gibt es hier nirgends. Die Betten sind nicht sehr breit. Uns hat es nicht gestört zumal es 4 Schlafzimmer hat und wir gut hätten ausweichen können. Die Besitzer sind ganz liebe Menschen und helfen gerne. Die Aussicht war super. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

A very nice and well-functioning house with nice views and super landlord
We were on our first joint trip to Ireland, family of three generations. We had 6 nights stay. The house is large and well decorated, it accommodates three generations of different needs. There is a nice big kitchen with a large selection of kitchenware. Dining area with views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains. All bedrooms are large and you have every opportunity to get a good night's sleep. Kids loved the hot tub. We were all delighted with how super clean and well maintained there was in every room. We were received very warmly by the landlord's parents who are neighbors. Here is all the help and advice for hiking and local shopping and dining that you want. The house is close to hiking trails and beaches. The splendid Irish scenery and the sheeps is outside the windows. In short, this is the kind of house you dream of when you want to experience Ireland.

Super Ferienhaus
Wir waren das erste Mal in Irland und es war einfach wunderschön. Dazu hat auch dieser absolute Glücksgriff mit dem Ferienhaus beigetragen. Alles was man braucht, netter Empfang, ruhige Umgebung, phantastische Aussicht. Noch dazu hatten wir kein irisches Wetter sondern 2 Wochen Sonnenschein. Da hat sich das einzige Manko des Hauses gezeigt, nämlich keine bequeme Möglichkeit zum draußen sitzen. Ein paar Gartenklappstühle wären schön gewesen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wunderschöne Lage
Großes und sauberes Haus. Kerry Wanderweg beginnt ca 15 min oberhalb vom Haus. Unbedingt den Kerryweg bis Caherdaniel ausprobieren! Mit dem Auto super schöne Strände in 6 Min erreichbar und auch bis Valentia Island nur ca 45min. Gute Ausgangslage um Kerry zu erkunden. Und genug Platz für alle

Cottage de luxe !
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 4 jours dans le cottage de Siobhan. Tout le confort et les équipements sont prévus pour passer de belles vacances. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la maman de Siobhan. Les chambres sont grandes dont 2 sont équipées de salle de bain avec douche et wc, plus une grande salle de bain avec douche et baignoire/spa. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié le canapé très confortable. Le cadre est magnifique avec la vue sur mer au loin. A l'extérieur il y a une belle terrasse avec table de jardin et une famille de moutons qui se promène. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter le sud du Kerry dont Valentia Island à faire absolument. Le cottage est à 1 heure de route du parc national de Killarney. Si j'avais un point négatif à faire c'est que le cottage est un peu loin des commerces alimentaires et pubs. Nous conseillons le pub Blind Piper à proximité. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir et recommandons cet hébergement.
