Neat little hotel with just a few rooms. Upscale and nicely appointed. Lots of charm without feeling like you’re staying in a super old property. Very close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Only drawback is parking can be a chore if they’ve got a full house.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel for a week. There are only two minor things we would change. We had a room where the bathroom was separate (down the hall), which was fine. The only thing I would improve is to have a fan in the bathroom that can run for more than a few minutes at a time. Because there are no windows or AC or other airflow in the bathroom is felt sometime like the room stayed warm and humid, the towels did not dry out completely and it was stuffy in there. In the room itself everything was great but I would like to have had some blackout curtains or something. There are just light coloured window covers that let in all the light, so when the sun is coming up at 4:30am if you are sensitive to this (as I am) there is no chance you are going to sleep past 5am.

Beautiful room, not as pictured online when we booked but still suited our needs and thankfully was air conditioned. We had booked an apartment with two queen beds + sofa bed and were provided one with one queen bed, two twin beds and what appears to be a sofa bed. Nice and close to downtown amenities, 10/10 location. Parking at the back of the property is first come/first served, but would be nice if these places were reserved for rooms closest to the back of the property instead of just having to hope to get a spot. We noticed that we were charged an extra guest fee despite there being just two of us who checked in due to our third having to miss the trip due to a family emergency. Despite the circumstances, hotel staff refused to refund the extra guest charge and so will be going thru Expedia or ultimately filing a dispute with my credit card in order to obtain that refund
