Really great hotel stay. Special thanks to Paul the night manager for hosting us after hours. Also thanks to kitchen staff for providing mushrooms and beans for non neater at breakfast. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice old style hotel with old style system that is lost in modern day hotels. Breakfast was brilliant, staff wonderful, beautiful lobby with an all over wooden finish. Plenty of little tuck aways for a private chat . Reasonable priced.

Short break in Castleisland
Unfortunately we had to ask for a change of room when we first arrived as there was a loud humming noise which unfortunately would have kept us awake during the night, the staff member however was very accommodating and changed us to another room immediately. The breakfast is adequate however it does not offer a lot of choice for anyone who does not like fried food. In regards the house keeping service I would have to say it was poor, the bed covers were just pulled over the pillows and the bed was not properly made. For anyone who needs the WiFi for work it was not working while we were there, apparently it had been faulty for over a week. The hotel itself is very convenient as a base to explore the surrounding area and the staff are very pleasant.

This is a beautiful old hotel with a great staff and a nice breakfast. There is no parking at the hotel but there is quite a bit of safe street parking in this quaint little town.

Staff were friendly both on reception & in the restaurant. The room decor was bland & needed to be modernised. Was very unhappy to discover that there was NO carpark as it was advertised as 'free parking'. I now know this means you have to find a space along the road outside & park so would not stay again.

An OK accommodation
The hotel is ok, we got the breakfast included and it was basic but enough, the staff is kind of clueless about their job but almost everyone is very polite and nice. We booked a room with one big bed and we got a 2 bed bedroom with an awkward location for the TV. I received an email about my booking being cancelled a few hours before my check in time and I was afraid because it was paddy’s weekend but I called the hotel and they fixed it apparently so either the app has issues or the hotel. It was an ok weekend and the irish coffee was delicious.

Good Value
We were over for a funeral, booked this on short notice and were well looked after by the friendly staff. Room was very comfortable and made available as soon as we arrived. Excellent location in the High Street so you can walk everywhere. Didn't eat here as we were out with relatives. I know it get's busy in the high season. If and when we come back will stay here again.
