Castlemaine Boutique Accommodation presents theoriginal Station Master's House, renovated to its former glory with all the modern amenities we've come to enjoy.



Nestled amongst its own private serene gardens, this inviting home is perfect for a relaxing getaway where you can enjoy the surrounding greenery and natural splendor of Central Victoria without leaving the warmth and comfort of this cozy home. You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the wild, all with the ease of being a short walk to the sights of central Castlemaine. Though with such a fun, friendly and fully equipped kitchen and open-plan living area, ready for relaxing and self-catering, you may not even want to leave.



To ensure you have a comfortable and rejuvenating stay, the Station Master's House has been fitted out with luxurious beds and seating, a cozy gas log fire, ducted heating and evaporative cooling.



Sleeps up to 10 with 2 King size beds, 2 Queen size beds and 2 singles.



BEDROOM 1- King size bed with luxury linen and Lovely ensuite.



BEDROOM 2- King size bed and a Single bed with luxury linen.



BEDROOM 3-Two Queen size bedswith luxury linen.



BEDROOM 4- Single bed with luxury linen.



King size beds can be split into singles. Please advise at least two weeks before your stay of preferred bedding configuration. (Additional charges apply)



Please note: We are no longer able to offer the swimming pool to guests not staying at Corvah House. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you have a wonderful stay with us.

Station Master's House was superb

A group of friends got together for a weekend break, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to Donna and her team. The house was very clean and well presented. the location is very central, walking to distance to everything! I would recommend to anyone thinking of a short break.

Lovely stay for a group for a weekend

Cosy winter retreat

Check-in went smoothly, communication excellent. Walking into a warm space on a chilly day was much appreciated! Kitchen is small but served our family group of 7. Would love to come back again soon!

Family trip

We stayed in Castlemaine and travelled to Chewton to visit the house my ancestors built in 1860. We had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Station Master’s House which was very conveniently located and spotlessly clean - and also had children’s books, a high chair and cot for our little granddaughter. We went to the Railway Hotel for dinner on Friday night which was so much fun and the Castlemaine market on Sunday - can’t walk t to do it all again one day soon.

A wonderful residence

The Station Master's House was perfect for us. We travelled to Castlemaine for the weekend with 8 adults and a newborn, and the accommodation and location was simply outstanding. A beautiful charming residence that suits the character of Castlemaine, that is convenient to walk to the Mill and the town. Fantastic hosts and communication.

Castlemaine hideaway

On the main highway and so close to the town centre. We walked to wherever we needed to go. Even though on a main road traffic noise was unnoticeable. Heard the trains but they just added to the atmosphere of the Station Masters House especially the tourist steam train. House well presented with everything we needed. Will book again

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Spacious and comfortable in the country setting of Castlemaine. Close proximity to all that the area has to offer. Suited our needs for space, convenience and comfort very well. Thank you for making our arrangements and stay such a pleasure. The steam train was an added bonus.

Clean and comfortable

Darling House was a very nice, clean and comfortable home. It was great to be able to walk into town and we enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly! Only downsides were the wifi only working in the lounge room and the road noise.
