"The resort is amazing with breathtaking view.Our room is very nice with balcony facing the bay. Breakfast buffet is plenty and variety with different foods choices. We love the service here and staffs are very friendly and polite.The resort also has electric taxi to take you to into the town with small fee. We are really enjoyed our stay here, will definitely recommend to our friends and family if they travel to Việt nam "

"This was a great little place to stay on Cat Ba. When we went it was just the start of the tourism season, and there were a lot of building works next door. The layout of the hotel is lovely but there are a LOT of stairs - ours ended up on the 4th floor with no lift available! The staff very kindly took our luggage up and down however but this is important to note! The breakfast is ok, nothing special, and doubtful they make it fresh when you order - I think they cook it that morning and leave it on the side before bringing it to you. Coffee is average. But the host Annie and her colleagues are very lovely and there is a wonderful Bia Hoi next door! "

"Hai and Chilly were fabulous hosts, communicative and always happy to assist in any way. As it was winter we opted to stay in the village. The family sized room with 2 king beds and bathroom plus your own seating and hammock out the front situated in lovely gardens was a great place to recover after doing the Ha Giang Loop. Basic breakfast is included, lunch and dinner are available with dinners being shared dishes with other guests which gives the opportunity to meet others. You can hire bikes next door for 30000 D and the team can organise day trips and transport. We did the afternoon kayaking with bbq on a floating village followed by night kayaking to spot the phosphorescence and really enjoyed it. Depending on where you are coming from it is a little tricky to get there- bus, ferry, shuttle bus, speed boat and golf buggy but they can assist you with these arrangements as they did with us . If you just want somewhere to unwind for a day or 2 or use as a base for day trips the accommodation is a really great cheap option. Thanks for making us feel so welcome!"

"We came to Cat Ba island with the main purpose of climbing, and picked this hotel for the perfect location right next to the best crag on the island (Butterfly Valley). The lovely owners, clean/modern room, and excellent restaurant made this the best accommodation in our entire Vietnam trip. The hotel just opened 8 months ago so there weren’t many reviews to go on - after spending a week here, we can confidently say this is one of the hidden gems of Cat Ba and the only place we’d stay at if we return. We rented a scooter directly from the owner and went down to Cat Ba town every night for dinner and drinks. You definitely get the best of both worlds staying in a beautiful and quiet rural area while still having all the city amenities only 20 minutes away. And I can’t say enough at how wonderful the owners of this place are - they truly care about their guests, going above and beyond in so many ways to make it a great experience for us. "
