"We had a family weekend at Knoebels and stayed at the CoasterCreek Chalet. The chalet had loads of amenities. We brought our own bedding and towels which was fine. We were not disappointed. The location is great. Bloomsburg not too far, Knoebels Park right across the highway. A little bit of a hike, but not bad. We ate at the Nickel Plate(very good)and the Original Pizza Restaurant (very good). Both are just a short drive. The chalet really was a gem. Thanks for a great weekend!!!!"

"The River House is a beautiful property. It is a gorgeous log home with the Susquehanna River as the backyard. The home was very clean and comfortable. The entire property is calm and relaxing. My husband was able to fish right on the river bank which was one of the main reasons for this trip. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We would definitely return for a stay in the fall. Thank you!"

"Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. "I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;)"
