"We stayed three nights at this top-floor rental. It met our needs perfectly. Michael is a great Host. We were using it as a base for kayaking in the Columbia River. It's an excellent place for that. We loved the community of Cathlamet, which is just a short drive away. It's a cute town. We also took the ferry across the Columbia that leaves Puget Island every hour. We will be back again."

"Our stay was focused on Salmon fishing. The home was perfect with a dock for our boat. Very beautiful location and great neighbors. The home is well appointed and provided everything we need. "Weather kept us out of the river, but not out of the hot tub or the sauna. Loved the quiet beautiful location. Never saw so many eagles or hummingbirds. House well equipped and comfortable. Ferry to Oregon was a treat. Everything owner told us about the area helped us get around. A special holiday that will have many good memories."

"It was cozy and nicely kept up. The bathroom and shower area was exceptional and luxurious. It's walkable to town, which we liked, but it's a bit of a hike (20-25ish mins on foot, each way). The only downside we didn't foresee was it's proximity to the main road, which made it quite noisy during all daytime hours. The host was super communicative and clearly takes good care of this space. The bedding and mattress were some of the best I've experienced in a rental!"

It's located in a quiet residential area (aside from hearing the sea lions down by the river), though was still close enough to conveniently reach most of the attractions in Astoria.
