Lovely Spot

Daniel is a lovely host - always ready with a smile. Convenient location to Cahors. Easy drive to Toulouse. House is cozy and warm and the grounds are beautiful.

Un vrai bonheur !!!

Cette destination est proche du zéro défaut.... La seule critique qui pourrait etre émise, et encore c'est discutable... est l'absence d'un four micro onde... Mais franchement on s'en passe :) ! Carole et Daniel vous accueillent dans un gite refait a neuf, vieilles pierres & poutres de chênes au milieu d'un véritable écrin de verdure mais... Le confort est loin d'etre oublié ! ... Ecran plat, wifi, frigo américain, bains bouillonnants etc. On se sent de suite bien des ces lieux ! Rien de manque dans la cuisine pour cuisiner les richesses locales !.. Pour nous c'était l'époque des girolles.. Les promenades à proximité immédiate de la maison nous ont fait croiser renard, cerf, chevaux et chevreuils, la nature est bien là et offre tous les soirs un coucher de soleil mémorable à déguster avec un verre sous les arbres ou sont installés table et chaises de jardin. Pour autant la civilisation est bien là, toute proche... Catus est à 3 kms avec ses commerces et son Lac Vert. Cahors à 12 kms et les premières surfaces très abordables a 4 kms... A découvrir aussi des restaurants dans les petits villages alentours qui semblent sortis d'une autre époque avec leurs service familial... Je note Regine à Gigouzac.... Mais ce qu'il faut surtout retenir, c'est la chaleur de l'accueil de Carole et Daniel. Il vous faudra que quelques jours pour tomber amoureux des lieux et des personnes mais beaucoup plus de jours pour vous en remettre quand les vacances s'en seront allées :( C'est certain, nous, nous reviendrons !"
