Beautiful building in a beautiful setting. Lovely grounds. The rooms are comfortable but basic and the bathrooms in particular could do with modernization. Plus a power outlets for charging would be nice. Super friendly staff.

Wonderful place to be

Its a great area to see the French coubtryside. Its def a complete opposite of the hustle an bustle of Paris. The chateau has a very inviting feeling. The managers are so accomodating, nuce, and very knowledgeable. The armagnac tasting is phenomenal. I couldnt ask for a much better place to stay in the atmagnac region. I hihgly recommend this place.

No air-conditioning — while this is perhaps mentioned somewhere, we did not notice when booking. We spent two nights there, with daily highs around 40 Celsius. 4m ceilings and stone walls help somewhat, but still, not very comfortable. The bathroom lacks shelving and counter space. Lastly, we booked an Armagnac tour and experience, but apparently the person who does it is not working on Tuesdays. One of the staff members opened the place for us and explained a few things, but still again: why take a reservation for something you know you cannot do. Of the nice things: The grounds are nice, we enjoyed walking through the vineyards in the mornings. The starters at the dinner were also exceptional. The staff were friendly and it felt like home.

Ce séjour au château de Mons en Armagnac était une halte pour un plus long trajet. L’accueil a été parfait, la jeune femme était souriante et à notre écoute. Le gros point négatif était que le restaurant était fermé le soir et on a été prévenu de cela que la veille nous empêchant d’annuler notre réservation. Nous voulions éviter de reprendre la voiture pour sortir manger ailleurs.

Très beau lieu…prestations hôtelières décevantes

Lieu magnifique et historique qui mérite le détour.. Par contre, grande rigidité des responsables, refus de nous recevoir à déjeuner à 13h20 alors que les heures d’ouverture indiquées sont 12h30-13h30… Petit-déjeuner hyper basique contrairement aux avis publiés.. De plus on nous a gentiment éconduit lorsque nous avons demandé à visiter les caves… Ce lieu semble plus approprié pour une réception ou un mariage car manque cruel de personnel et de moyens!

très beau site

très beau chateau, avec un très bon accueil et un très bon restaurant. Seul bémol , la faible isolation acoustique entre les pièces mais la grande dimension et le calme de l'établissement compensent ce point.

Très bien mais…

Une nuit et un petit déjeuner à 2. La chambre était confortable. Mais des cheveux au sol à divers endroit de la chambre plus produit d’accueil déjà utilisé (shampooing). Grosse déception pour le petit dej’. Dommage de ne pas mettre en valeur les artisans locaux notamment sur le fromage, la charcuterie, les œufs et les viennoiseries. Confitures maison, yaourts maison… il n’y avait rien de tout ça. L’accueil était sympa, et le lieu évidemment magnifique et calme.

Tres charmant et bien tenu, beau parc autour. Calme et agreable. Sans chichi. Ma chambre n'etait pas tres grande mais je voyageais seule donc cela n'etait pas derangeant. J'avais des amis dans une autre chambre, tres belle et spatieuse.

Ett mycket trevligt slottsboende med helt moderna rum. Förutom att kunna köpa såväl lokalt producerade produkter, typ årgångsArmagnac, hade slottet även ett mycket trevligt kök. Maten och vinerna var utsökta! Priserna mycket rimliga.
