Getaway to Mammoth Cave

Fantastic property! Everything is new and clean. Easy access to Mammoth Cave NP. The owner, Kelly, was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend staying at Deer Jenny.

Mammoth Cave spring break trip

Great property for a family trip. Close proximity to Mammoth Cave and the great outdoors. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry were well stocked with basic utensils, soaps, towels, and cleaning supplies. Great communication from the host.

Mammoth cave weekend

Took the family and grandparents to mammoth cave. Had a great weekend. Close to the park and a huge yard to play in. The house was great!

Fantastic Hideaway Close to MCNP

Beautiful home tucked away in the trees with plenty of space for us all. Super easy to access Mammoth Cave National Park. Be sure to get up early or stay out at dusk to see the deer in the back field.

Exceeded expectations!!!

This property is phenomenal!! This place must be almost brand new, everything was immaculate! Plenty of room for our party of 5…HUGE bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds/pillows and we had we needed for a comfortable getaway. We enjoyed a night around the campfire after exploring the local attractions and thoroughly enjoyed our getaway! Do not hesitate to book this property, if we are ever back in the area we would stay here again without question.

Bucks & Does

This property is a MUST stay for anyone traveling to Mammoth Cave National Park. It’s in a beautiful country setting and the fire pit with indirect lighting is over the top. Our host answered every inquiry we made through Vrbo in a timely manner. The Park is only 6 miles away. We were visited by wild turkey in the morning and deer in the evening while eating on the deck. This property is the only one I’ve ever given a 5 star rating to in all our travels.

Adult stay at Deer Jenny to visit Mammoth Cave, Kentucky

Our group of 6 adults had 4 of us staying at Deer Jenny. We had another couple come and eat dinners with us at the house. What a wonderful and peaceful environment. We enjoyed our time using the fire pit to share stories and a few refreshments at night and used the large front porch for some great conversations. The place was immaculate and had everything one needs for a relaxing stay. Great proximity to the Mammoth Cave National Park and other cave...15 minutes away from the park visitor center I recall and minutes from the small town. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The owners were very nice and follow up with inquiries really quick. Thanks Kelly! Kevin from Chicago.

Delightful

A new property close to Mammoth Cave Visitors Center and not too far from Bowling Green Lost River Cave. The accommodations were perfect for us-Grandma, Papa, and grandsons ages 7 and 9. One large bedroom had a bunk bed that also had a trundle bed and queen bed. The common area was nice as was the kitchen. The second big bedroom had a king size bed, sitting area, and lovely bathroom. There was a deck with table and fire pit in private back yard backing into wooded area and meadow. The front veranda had plenty of seating and nice view of pond. The property manager responded quickly to my questions. We definitely recommend Deer Jenny.

UNBELIEVABLE PROPERTY!!! Book it NOW!

I cannot say enough positive things about this property. I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say. Not one. THE BEDS ARE SOOOOOOO COMFY! Location is terrific for Mammoth Cave, ziplining, shops in Cave City. Very quiet house, neighborhood, area. Spacious and clean. Amazing showers. Wonderful parking. Fully stocked in necessary items (kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms). They even have a lot of games for rainy days and toys for outside for nice days. Plenty of interior seating for a comfy stay. Three TVs. Full laundry (washer/dryer) inside property. Fantastic communication with hosts. Easy check-in and check-out process. Everything you would want in a VRBO rental. Definitely stay here. It is more than worth it.

A great vacation spot to relax and visit Mammoth Cave

We loved the house and property! The house felt very new and had mostly brand new furnishings and supplies. It was a great setup for my family with one room for the kids with a bunk bed and a master suite for my wife and I. Our whole family loved all the outdoor seating on the front porch and on the back deck and fire pit area. We really enjoyed sitting or eating outside in the mornings and evenings. The view of the property is beautiful and we spotted a deer and some turkeys a few times out in the field. We really enjoyed how close the house was to the Mammoth Cave National Park Visitors Center - only a 15 min drive and more than half of the drive is inside the park itself. Being so close allowed us to do a cave tour or hike in the morning, then come back to the house for lunch and naps, then go back again in the afternoon for another adventure. Kelly was very responsive. The only cons of our stay here were unreliable Wi-Fi and a few of the items advertised as being available (lighter for the fire and kcups) weren't there (or there was only one kcup for our 4 night stay). Overall this place earned 10/10. I don't know if we'll visit the area again anytime soon, but if anyone is wanting to visit Mammoth Cave National Park, I'd highly recommend this place!
